Just picked this up in Track Burnley. Not sure if nationwide but an amazing price for such a quality whiskey.

I refer you to post no.2

Is in one of my locals also (but not the other 3 stores)

Was marked as RTC

A great price if you can find stock.

Amazing deal! Super single malt - my fav. I usually pay £30 at best so this is a steal. However, is this nation wide or a yellow sticker stock clearance?

couple of weeks back this was in my local tesco for £20 ... enjoyed till the last drop

None in my store but nice spot OP if you manage to source a bottle

The Glenlivet is a nice tipple and the 18yo is particularly tasty. I presume this will only be in stores where it is being discontinued, so it is unlikely to be RTC in any Scottish stores. I will have a look anyway as it is well worth £24.

none in Warwick tesco!

A nice tipple and good for the price but the quoted rrp is garbage.

Whisky not Whiskey.

showed as £36 on shelf but went through tills at £24

Whiskey!?! Whiskey!?!

Blasphemy!!! Can you tell how angry I you have made me due my overuse of question and exclamation marks!?!?!?!?!

true, true..

6 years too old.

Lovely whisky. Never found it to be THAT much better than standard 12 year old IMHO, but that's not knocking this deal.

the 15 is noticeably different to the 12, is this as different again?

I'm so disappointed... I just went to my local tesco, and they have no amazing whisky offers... ah well, better for the bank balance I guess.

ditto above.
Was a nice walk in the sun to town though ;-)

Isn't it Irish Whiskey and Scottish Whisky? That's what I was told. But I was hammered at the time so I might be wrong Hahahaha

That's correct mate! I just got back from a whisky tour at the highland and I was told thats the difference.

Seems like a one off then?

They had the standard 12 year old for that price but not this one. I've been keeping my eye on them for a couple months. Think my favourite deal at the moment is the jura superstition from morrisons £22.

Very hot

For some reason though I much prefer the 15 year old French Reserve

Found that out when it was £17 a bottle at Tesco. Stocked up

Well before I invest in anything else I had better get through my Laphroaig 10, Bowmore 12 and German Slyrs first. Three (hopefully) quality whiskys I bought myself on holiday. EU customs alcohol allowance FTW!

Lol!

Damn, I bought a bottle of this 2 weeks ago for £36 and thought I was getting a good deal!

2 of my most favourites out of the many, many that I've tried, I keep going back to these! If you like them peaty, you're in !
For me, Laphroaig is possibly the best whisky bargain out there, even at full price (shhh, don't tell everyone..)

Went to Tesco in Watford, Hertfordshire.

No discount showing on the ticket price however its scanning at £24.xx!

Thanks - heat added!

I think I like Peaty but I'm not sure. Still a whisky virgin tbh. Only tried Teachers and JW Double Black so far. Both blends but both delicious so I am hoping for something quite special from the ones I bought. With a joker in there too with the German Whisky I bought as I was in Germany.

Laphraoig was my first proper favourite (as I could actually tell it from all the other regulars so easily I guess!), but then someone pointed out it was generally quite oily, and I've tended to agree. Need to get a decent Ardbeg or Peat Monster to expand my peaty knowledge.
