Sorry forgot to mention this deal is with the cooperative

Nice. Thanks OP.

Any clue as to how many year it's been aged for? Single Malt doesn't make a huge difference if it's only a year old lol :P

It's 10yo. Was £28.55 now £22.

Not a 12 y.o but a 10! Great malt from the 16 men of Tain!

Great whisky and a good price. Hot.

Best price I've seen in a whIle for a good whisky. It is ridiculous how much tax Dave and Nick have stuck onto alcohol

No Dave and Nick are ridiculous full stop.

Nice whiskey! Don't mind if I do

In store or online?

The one the scotch drink...........

T'is the season to be merry!

Age matters a lot less than you'd think. Macallan for example no longer out agree statements on their bottles.

Also, it can't be 1 year old as to be classified as a single malt it has to be at least 3 years.

This is one of my preferred highlands malts and is a good price though :-)

It matters. The reason Macallan does not print ages on its stock whiskey is because they cannot cost effectively source the old barrels to store it in. I have a bottle of 1949 Glen Grant in storage at the moment - going to drink it when I retire Which will be about 2250 the life expectancy and the government are going.

wow...hope there's stock in my local co-op
