In store and online, there was only 2 bottles left at my local. It's a Whisky I would never pay £40 for so I figured I may as well try it. Not bad, not bad...

If its 15 years old surely it must be out of date lol
Red hot for a nice whisky
As a 40 year old man, i'm not allowed to taste 15 year olds anymore.

while this is indeed in very poor taste
i have to say i always found myself giggling when sitting in pubs in scotland, where they'd have a chalkboard on the wall listing their single malt prices - because it would just say...

Talisker 10 yr old ... £7.50
Caol Ila 7 yr old ... £6.00
Johnnie Walker 8 yr old .... £5.00

i always used to think "poor johnny, must be unattractive"
Must admit i like a nice single malt but i have only ever managed to get one of these offers and that was the ASDA offer
just before the Christmas ever time i go they got none left.

A nice single malt but agree original price OTT given the recent reduction in the glenlivet 18 year old malt which is much better. The balvenie doublewood 12 yr old is still £25.80 in tesco and in my opinion a much better buy
