Seems very good value for a Glider crib as these are usually more expensive than the swinging style crib.
Should also last longer than a Moses basket.

Soothe your baby to sleep with the Kub Liska Gliding Crib. The relaxing, gliding motion of the crib will help lull your baby into a peaceful sleep. Suitable from birth to approximately 6 months, this is a beautiful first bed for your precious newborn.

Beautiful & a really good price

Very bad idea. Rock your baby to sleep and when you take them out of this they expect to be rocked to sleep.

This. Voted hot for the price, but it gets the baby into a bad habit

You have to push it to rock it so you can choose to lie baby in and not rock it at all.
Entirely up to the parent to decide what works for them and their new little person's personality. I prefer to have the option to rock it should I choose to than buy a stationary crib without that option as one cannot predict if you'll have an laid back little one or if they'll be the nosy type to worry they would miss something if they closed their eyes!!!

or could be after 48 hours of no sleep and a screaming baby that a bit of gentle rocking to sleep for £50 is cheap at half the price and no such a big deal after all!!

And at least if you rocked baby to sleep in the crib you are free to make a cup of tea or have a shower or a nap if you rocked baby to sleep in your arms instead you can end up parked under baby for the duration. Seems a good middle ground to me!

And as this is a crib you could build a quiet motor to do the rocking for you. Put it on wheels so you can then gently roll your young one back into their room after they were happy you were present for their nap.

...What?!

And a remote control to summon the crib so it can be wheeled it back into the room when baby wakes up.

Guys take a chill pill!!

These are 100% safer than a mos basket!
I had this but I never rocked my kids in it. I bought it for downstairs. mine was massive back then but now they have reduced the size a lot.
git mine from toys r us about £50

brilliant price

Great price

i had one very similar you don't have to rock it obviously but it comes in handy when baby is stirring gets them to sleep i had one of these upstairs and an ordinary moses basket with none rocking stand and both my boys slept fine in both so don't think it's a bad idea having rocking at all
also great price i paid alot more for mine

Hot for price. Cold for materials used. The nonsense about not being able to get a child to sleep after a period of time being rocked to sleep in these is complete nonsense though. Who comes up with this?

With all of the conflicting advice from heath professionals and norms on the street, it can be really confusing to make basic decisions for your child such as 'shall I buy a rocking crib or not?'

So here's my advice: if you think it MAY get you an extra ten minutes of peace and you can afford it, buy it. Your child is already in "bad habits" as its been rocked to sleep by you for nine months. People are what they are and you cannot give children bad habits, unless you are a total plank. Because if your child is destined to be a night owl, or an early bird, or a light sleeper, then there's not a lot you can do about it. Having two children that are polar opposites has taught me that, no matter how much control I think I have, I can only advise them. I keep them out of trouble and teach them to be kind to others and that's about it.

I think this is a good deal. I had a rocking one for me first child and it was a godsend. Actually I had it for the second one too but he hated it. Each to their own.

My mate sold one of these for a bargain tenner at a car boot last year. Sadly, buyer went off with one piece missing (got left behind).
Publicised it in local paper, on hoardings etc and even at following boot sales but still have the part to this day.
Perhaps they never put the crib together, or somehow got round it?
Funny thing boot sales... the number of buyers who say can I leave the goods with you and I'll collect when I've had a look round. And you go home still with the goods they've forgotten to collect ...but you have their money!!

Link works fine using the website and firefox Item number for Argos is 204/7913 if you need to go direct.

We have one of these. Used for D1 and now D2. As others have said, you don't have to rock it! Decent size and sturdy enough.

I have been looking at buying one of these cribs but cant seem to find a recommended size or type of mattress for the crib..?
Overall this looks ideal and at a great price but I as I am new to this I do not know where to find out more for crib mattress sizing etc.. Could anyone else please share with me what mattress size they used for this and maybe recommend a good mattress too..??
Thanks in advance :-)
