Don't buy if you aren't prepared to pay a possible customs charge, pay with credit card, expect long waits sometimes, but decent service in general from aliexpress, check the returns procedure in advance as well.

I bought the 8 ram / 256gb from Toby deals last night for 391 (plus 10 quid for shipping insurance), but this looks like an even better bargain at 372.

Good you've commented, as that's where my money would probably go
Pay with PayPal or credit card would you say is better?

Credit card 100%
3X optical zoom
Getting closer to my price threshold for a OP.
Can somebody please advise on the Do's/Don'ts of ordering mobile phones from Ali Express and other Chinese sellers? I've never ordered a phone from China before. Do we ALWAYS get charged customs charges + Tax on top of the price way pay? How do we know how much we're going to be charged?

You don't always get charged customs vat etc. It really is luck of the draw, some people ask the seller to mark it as a low value item, never done that myself. I'll happily pay if I get it as its always a risk.

The most I've ever had was £14, but it coyod be up to 20% of the value of the item. Just choose sellers standard shipping, or pay for shipping via DHL if its offered to avoid customs, but they shipping is usually quite expensive

1. What technicality did you use? Being marked as a low value gift? 2. Which courier did you use? 3. How does DHL avoid customs?
I would remember that most sellers on AliExpress have Chinese New Year's celebrations. One seller told me they ship stuff after February 10 so therefore be prepared for a long wait.

I've never asked thesleer to declare low value gift before. And DHL avoids customs as when you choose then you have to pay postage, thereby paying the charges via that shipping method
Amazing price 👏
