This is only a 7T... Xiaomi make the 9T, so that must be better... higher number always better!
Amazing price. I think I might have to give up checking this site for a month a year just for financial reasons. Like Octsober but for HUKD
For me in an ideal world, the Mr Switch deal on ebay with a 20 percent off code and shipped within the Euro zone for zero customs fees... With a nice Quidco 5 or 12 percent custom cashback offer.. I'd be on it like a shot....

in this case its the saving of £169 or 31% off a decent phone.

the shipping part is in my eyes different depending on the situation

e.g. if you were buying it as a present then fair enough you will need it ASAP but tbh majority of people already have a working phone which means that waiting 30-45 days to get a new one wont actually make any difference in real life since you still have one to use in the meantime.

Import duty part is hit and miss lol, its a lottery so if you dont get hit with it then its a bonus, but obviously you have to go in expecting to get hit with it. basically like quidco, you do everything properly and somehow your cashback still gets declined for no logical reason.

i normally take the gamble tbh because the last few i got from China never got hit with the taxes (count myself lucky)

This or wait for OnePlus 7 Pro to hit similar pricing ?
Would you have to pay any type of postage fee's or anything for delivery when it arrives at the sorting office?
If not this is a pretty sweet deal, and heat added

Depends. If you prefer curved screen, pop up camera, and no notch then 7 Pro is for you. If you prefer the alternatives, then that's the 7T.

I'm guessing the 7T has faster facial detection due to non pop up required

Yes, but I wouldn't recommend using face unlock as it is the insecure 2D version.

May I ask what you think about the 7T against the Xiaomi 9T, saw you post the deal earlier from Amazon spain and having I'm having a hard time choosing..

7T if price wasn't a factor but I wouldn't buy from China as it's not a fair comparison to the Amazon Spain deal. Buy from somewhere in Europe and price shoots up to around £500.

When Mi 9T Pro is £320 from Amazon, can you justify the £180 extra spend? 7T has SD 855+ which is newer than SD 855 in Mi 9T Pro but it's only a mid year upgrade. 7T has Oxygen OS which is 100% way better than MIUI. 7T looks nicer too IMO (I don't like 7T camera layout but hate the Mi 9T Pro hideous colour scheme, that's personal preference though).

60Hz v 90Hz screen also. I'd say that's one of the biggest differentiators alongside the version of Android the phones run.

Yes, forgot about that. Personally, when moving from a 60hZ display to a 90hZ display I couldn't tell much of a difference. Though if I switched back now I probably would notice

Resale values on OnePlus devices also seem to hold up pretty well. i usually base a phone on resale value because when you calcualte it over a 2 year span (how long i normally keep phones for) OnePlus phones historically have kept their value for me

e.g. A higher specced 1+ phone over a huawei, £550 vs £400

but then when it came to resale the 1+ could fetch £300-350 and the huawei was like £150-200

oneplus cost me £200-250 for the 2 years

huawei wouldve cost me £200-250 for 2 years also

if you buy phones in this type of pattern then looking at resale values might be worthwhile as you pay the same overall cost but get a faster phone over the 2 years of ownership

Good point. OnePlus phones do hold value more as they don't drop far from RRP and are removed from sale when the next model is released.

Yeah the only downfall is that the initial outlay is abit higher obviously as you'd be forking out an extra £150-200.

But tbh for an item that you use for hours everyday for years. I'd rather it be lightening quick as most 1+ phones are, than laggy and full of bloatware.
Aah man this is so tempting but with those delivery times you just know whilst it’s on the slow boat @MrSwitch will have posted a better deal for it.

Nice price!

Any import duties to pay? Is delivery really 28 - 48 days?
I suggest before anybody buys a device from this seller they take some time and read the reviews for the 6T they are also selling, the first few I read all suggest they didn't have the device they wanted and they were offered alternatives once they paid.
