That's a serious amount of phone hardware for £188...Crazy good price.
How do these advance deals work on Ali Express? You add it to your cart, then wait until the time stated and then proceed to check out?

Is an item "reserved" for you by it being in your basket, or is it just first come first serve? If the latter, is there any advantage to leaving it in your basket, or could you just go to the website at the time stated and add it then?

Edit: Great price of course, heat added!

OK thank you, will give it a go!
Bought the 128gb from Gearbest last week for £265, very good value for money, replaced Note 5. If you don't need the extra storage, this is a cracking deal,, even with the chance of tax
Much of a difference between this and the 9 lite?
Once you add VAT and import fees this would be higher than buying from Amazon in spain, who would have probably better support. Shame it's only the black which is on offer there... It'll live in a case anyway but I was planning on getting a clear one :). Has anyone used bright colour cases on this phone and not impacted the flash?
Use friday15 instead for more saving

This or the 9T Pro? You shouldn't have paid that much for the non-pro

Agreed, I received mine on Friday. It really shows how overpriced other manufacturers are.
Btw..ping Xiaomi uk.support a chat message and they will tell you your China supplied Xiaomi is supported on uk warranty now....
many people have confirmed this now. Myself included

What issues exactly did it have (other than those that can\will be resolved via software updates?)
Just curious - aren't all Mi 9Ts "global versions"? Since there exists the Redmi k20s

Yes, they are. I think Redmi is seperated in China from Xiaomi and for the Global market you will have Xiaomi.
However, nowadays is a big mess with the Xiaomi product names. Almost the same hardware with different names for different markets.

Redmi k20 vs mi 9t

So yeah, 4G network bands are different. Chinese phones usually have no band 20... and NFC issues

redmi note 8 pro
pros:
sd card slot
~ £50 cheaper
bigger battery

9t
pros:
faster processor
amoled display
notchless screen
in screen finger sensor unlock
pop up front camera (its neat but not sure whether thats a good or bad thing long term)

unless someone else can chime in, i think everything else is about the same, not sure about camera quality differences (quad vs triple) though i'd imagine the 9t is better
Thanks for your help. When I try to add it to my basket it says "please provide the missing information", I selected colour and logged in, what am I missing?
How's the sound quality on this one for calls? The mi8 wasn't great according to the which review
Even on ebay, the dealers selling this can't match the price and it is £305 or thereabouts so it's a good deal. Anyone know why I can't place an order and keep getting the "please provide missing information" prompt?

can you make a screenshot?
It was the two small boxes underneath, I had to select one of those and the colour. I did try but did not realise I had to do two of them and so it confused me completely. You have to choose one of the options to make a purchase instead of having a default "nothing" function.
Just do a search on ebay for the same model, actually, the ones they are selling on ebay are all the "pro" ones, although some people are selling used one for about £250.
128 gb for £198.85 on the same store with all the seller vouchers and promo codes. About 180 pieces remaining39196945-NL6Wc.jpg
What is the operating system on these like. I understand its like an Android modified version. Is it any good?
Can you get the 128GB version for £198? I can't get that, when I select it, the price jumps up.

I really like it. You do have to spend some time configuring notification and battery options - it likes to shut down apps in the background to preserve battery by default - but once that's done it's a very nice UI. Probably my favourite after Google and OnePlus.
