Thought this worth a post, as if you choose the back, then you get with it the uk charger, one of the biggest problems with imports is sourcing the right charger (see @sisqoboy2 recent discussion)

Do you use the phone?

On a heavy use day I barely see nightfall on my Mi 9T Pro with a 4000MaH battery..I'm betting not much screen on time to get 2 days out of a Mi9

Great deal, heat added. Have to say I prefer this non pop up selfie cam version if ordering without a warranty.

Its been slightly cheaper, by about a quid, but the added addition if the uk charger will swing this deal for potential mi 9 buyers.

Thanks for the heat 🔥

Does it actually come with a UK charger though, or just one of those cheap UK global adapters that might as well come free with the purchase of a single penny sweet?

Amazing phone anyway, I paid around £300 for the 128GB version last summer and it is amazing. Wish I had held out for the Xiaomi UK Black Friday sale to pay essentially the same price (it was a bit more but had the wireless charger with it as well) for genuine UK stock with genuine UK charger, but hey, I'm happy still with what I got.

Great question!

I have absolutely no idea where to get one of the UK 27w chargers from for the Mi9 without spending £50ish in the 20w Wirless charger on the official UK mi store...

Anyone..?

I'd say the actual UK plug, as its the global version, and therefore will be sealed with red sticker, I've never saw that before, and all the others I've had have came with the uk adapter anyway.
Ahhh I cannot decide on this! I heard the battery wasn't great.

I bought a 60W Baseus charger from the official Baseus eBay store. £15 all in from China.

It can charge my mi 9 via either a USB-A or USB-C socket at 27W using various combinations of voltage and Amps.

When using the USB-A output I get the 'Charge Turbo' message on the MIUI charging animation.

It can do this whilst charging my iPad Pro at 27W at the same time.

I travel a lot so it's ideal as it can also power and charge my works Lenovo notebook.

Still have to use one of those UK adapters in between though?

Pretty good now it's settled down. And I use the always on screen during the day too.

Plus it charges so bloody quick it's not an issue. I've got a 45W Baseus car charger which charges the phone at 27W so the fast charging rate is a game changer.

I don't think it would matter too much which one it comes with as apparently (can't confirm yet...) they only come with an 18w (QC3.0) charger in the box which can be found very easily via the likes of Amazon, eBay etc...

It's the 27w QC4.0+ that's the difficult one to find as an actual UK plug

Well that's given me some good info to go on at least, it would seem that a PD3.0 charger would do it then according to what's on the box... Now to try and find a good deal on a UK variant of that!

Thanks
It's crazy to think I paid not much less than double for this phone a year ago, but am very pleased with it to this day. I recommend the Spigen case for it too after trying a few others.
Looking forward to the mi10 next month, mi 9 is an awesome bit of kit regardless of the price!

PD 3.0 and QC 4.0 or 4+ are compatible. They will both deliver the 27W the mi 9 can handle via USB-C.

But QC 3.0 is rated to a maximum of 36W contrary to the 18W most believe. My understanding is that the official Xiaomi 27W charger is actually QC 3.0. That's why this Baseus charger triggers the same charge turbo message as the Xiaomi 27W charger. And it does this from the USB-A ports just like the Xiaomi charger does. The Xiaomi charger doesn't have a USB-C port.

It's complicated. But I'm pretty sure everything I've told you is correct.

Chargers and phones perform handshakes and basically agree on the best charge profile both can handle.

Keep an eye out on the official Xiaomi UK online store. I got my 128GB version just before Xmas for £319.

When the mi 10 is released they may wish to get rid of the last remaining stock of mi 9s at a discount.

Ye I had this problem big time! I'm not sure what the score is, I believe they're all out of production given that the Mi10 is due to land early Feb... Seems they have more 64gb models left to sell than the 128gb..…

You're probably on about the deal I posted? I basically scanned the usual places every few hours to spot that one, I'll keep an eye out still and post again if I find something, be careful not to just end up getting one of the 'Global Rom' variants from AliExpress, no Band 20...

Yeah Thanks for that, I jumped on your deal but as a new user to AliExpress I didn't get their verification email their support told me not to purchase anything till they sort it out by the time they got back to me it was sold out , abut they stil l couldn't fix it , so they asked me to create a net account ..Rohit they had only asked me to do it in the first place.. yes was very careful not to touch the globalROM versions. Thanks again.

I agree 3300Mah is unacceptable for today's power users but okay for light users.
Best battery of any phone I've had, I can commute for 2 hours on the train with the screen on, listening to music and browsing over 4G, and still get to work with 88% battery left.

Looks pretty decent but I couldn't give you any guarantees.

It should charge a mi 9 at 9V/3A 27W max when plugged into via USB-C using QC 4.0 or PD 3.0 protocols. I don't think you'll get the 'Charge Turbo' message but that doesn't matter. It'll be just as fast.

I've also ordered the 20w wireless charging pad from Banggood recently, only the pad so I'm also hoping this would power that fully too, might be wishful thinking though unless the protocols match and everything is happy?

This one

It fits absolutely perfectly, like a glove, all the cut outs and buttons are in the exact positions. It has a nice feel / grip. The back is sufficiently thick so that the raised camera is protected. Doesn't hinder wireless charger. I've had mine a year, dropped it a couple of times, but for whatever reason still looks new without any chips or scratches.
