Nope no android pay, have to stretch for that card I'm afraid!
Thank you. I'm getting forgetful in my old age and quite like having that back up.
The price of this phone makes me worry they'll 30% overprice the A2 too (~£315)
It's a great phone and really good value for that money. Remember customs charges that Royal Mail will apply on delivery though. When you factor those in, you can get one from the EU on Ebay for a similar price. Many of these seem to be in Ireland, from £132 for the 32GB version or £153 for 64GB.

Remember Topcashback too with Aliexpress or Ebay.

No NFC but there's tags that can be attached to the back if it's a 'Must Have'

Really good phone. Have mine a couple months now.
The same 64+4Gb gold colour version is currently £135.99 at EGC with much quicker delivery & no VAT/customs as sent from a Euro warehouse: eglobalcentraluk.com/pro…118 (other colours available for more)

The one I bought for my neighbour a few weeks back arrived in 6 days in a factory-sealed box.

Never heard of eglobal - are they okay to buy from? Seriously tempted by the Note 4 for £112.

I bought mine from them and no problem at all. Arrived quickly, sealed etc. Faultless.

Honestly, always a risk buying from any FarEast-based (FE) company, so always pay with a credit card - covers purchases of £100 & above. Or, at the very least via PayPal, who have a 180-day claim window - no minimum spend here to be covered.

People say EGC use a third-party payment provider (Worldpay) to accept payments, so a credit card won't be covered, but there are many differing views about this & no evidence anyone has been refused credit card cover with this particular company so far (although I'm happy to be proved wrong).

Everything's usually fine with these companies - until something goes wrong. It was my first ever spend of £100+ with a FE-based company, & so far no regrets. Previously, never spent more than £25 on a single FE transaction & never been defrauded so far - so always had the goods, or failing which, a full refund (may take an extended time to receive). I've on occasion (2-3 times) accepted a partial refund / account credit after a brief discussion.
Any link to get a good & cheap case/cover for this phone please

Hi
I use this one, very happy:

Xiaomi Mi 5X / Xiaomi Mi A1 Case, AICEK Black Silicone Cover for Xiaomi 5X Black Case (5.5 inch) amazon.co.uk/dp/…ZAN
Not the cheapest it's been but ok price.

Best I saw was £128 two weeks ago from the Xiaomi Store seller.
