What is this PayPal fee you speak of?

mr Switch, i see you are very popular among this thread, im not really active on here, so I would just like to get your opinion, is the global version a good choice to get, or should I wait until the uk version comes out? Also would it be ok to get the xiaomi redmi not 7, seeing as it is still the latest phone? I'm thinking between xiaomi, honor and huawei p smart 2019, and I really have no clue. In terms of specs honor and xiaomi are much better, but in terms of trusting the chinese brands, I feel like huawei are more established/trusted. Sorry for the long questions, I just want to get my mum a phone under the 200 POUNDS mark

As i understand it honor is the premium brand of huawaei. I'd rate xiaomi above them.

Honor isn't the premium brand for Huawei. It would be their more affordable range.

Just go with a phone like the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite, possibly the best phone under £200 currently, I've only just seen this bud, sorry

I currently have a Honor Play with a slightly damaged screen (fierce). I want something equally as fast, because its the first phone I've felt has been turely smooth (S6, G3, V20 were a bit laggy), but the camera on the Play is just woeful. What would you recommend at around £150-200? Many thanks.

Same phone mate, mi 9 Lite, cannot go wrong with that
Watch out for the delivery times though, currently says estimated delivery is 43 to 60 days

The global version IS the UK version, just not necessarily with the UK plug, although they will usually supply the adaptor (or they're like £1).
If you're new to this, steer clear of the "global ROM" ones which are Chinese version flashed with global software.
Redmi note 7 is a great choice.
Mi 9 lite is an even better choice.
Huawei and honour are the same company. I would trust Xiaomi quality over both of them, except for the camera colour science (marginal though). The p smart 2019 is ok, but not the best value.

If not global ROM what do we go for instead please?

Hi folks,

I've been deliberating between the note 8 pro and the Mi 9 lite? Is the common consensus the lite is better?

Thanks all for any help.
Looks like mrswitches dhgate deal for the 128gb version is only 20 quid more.
