This is probably going to be quite niche, but here goes...

Added this to my Amazon wishlist ages ago, when it was full price. Decided to cull some of the entries on the list today and noticed that the game had been reduced by (according to Amazon) 38%.

Heard good things about the game, reviews look decent. Hopefully this'll help someone else out.

  • Gloomhaven is a game of Euro-inspired tactical combat in a persistent world of shifting motives
  • Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins
  • In the process they will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, discover new locations to explore and plunder, and expand an ever-branching story fueled by the decisions they make
  • After a scenario, players will make decisions on what to do, which will determine how the story continues
  • For 1 to 4 players | 60 to 120 minutes play time | Ages 12 and up

Grear price, heat. I can't justify the time investment unfortunately
@sigma I don't think amending the title from Gloomhaven helps in this case
The additional information does
Spoiler in the pic, I've seen it before but some may moan, great game, worth every penny!!
Bit unsure on this, heard some reports of fakes from amazon (but likely from 3rd party sellers).

Personally pay a little more and go with this:

£112.50

or slightly damaged outer box (but sealed) £95
Good price at the moment but was £99 from magicmadhouse last week so might be worth holding out to see if any discounts are thrown about during black friday

Plus its better to support independent game shops rather than the Amazon behemoth
Strangely never been hyped about Gloomhaven before, but listened to the interview with the designer on the most recent ep of the Game Pit podcast and now suddenly my interest is piqued. Worth a listen for anyone who wants to know more. Still, need to get more 7th Continent played before committing to another epic, but will definitely be looking more closely at Gloomhaven in the future.
7th Continent? Gloomhaven? Now you are speaking my language! Gloomhaven is great for solo and co-op. You will need 2-3 hours per session but if you can get that time even semi-regularly I would say go for it.

And 100% agree on buying from independents.
Great game! Worth mentioning it has difficulty scaling so for game groups which struggle to have everyone present at each session, this game can scale to those who are able to make a game night. Also, the way characters work means that players don't necessarily become too powerful (although it may happen!), leaving other players in their dust (if particular players have intermittent attendance).
This is about the right price (I think it's what I paid at the start of the year). Fantastic game that's great for couples. Just look up DIY storage solutions and maintenance assisting apps. They make the game so much smoother to play and set up.

Hi, Which episode?
I thought I bought for 75 in morning on b-bay from evergameuk in damaged box, I received delivery msg even, but later in day it was canceled, because item was "out of stock"... Of course, I got refund and sincere apologies. I cant even put negative feedback...
Such a great game! Yes, it takes one helluva time investment, but that can be spread over months or even years, and it is so very, very worth it!

Hi, Which episode?

Episode 141. It's a guest interview by one of their friends who has a video game podcast but thought it would fit better on the Pit... still, interesting stuff. Also the Game Pit is great - my favorite board game podcast these days.
Now £97.90 apparently, though how long that will last.....
