Use the code REY to get 7% off - thank @jayhutton10 for the tip

Great price on this game. No.1 over at BGG: boardgamegeek.com/boa…ven

This is for the September / October 2019 Reprint

Gloomhaven is a game of Euro-inspired tactical combat in a legacy world of shifting motives.

Players will take on the role of a wandering mercenary with their own special set of skills and their own reasons for travelling to this remote corner of the world. Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins. In the process they will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, discover new locations to explore and plunder, and expand an ever-branching story fuelled by the decisions they make.

This is a persistent, “legacy” game that is best played over many game sessions. After a scenario, players will make decisions on what to do, which will determine how the story continues, kind of like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book. Playing through a scenario is a cooperative affair where players will fight against automated monsters using an innovative card system to determine the order of play and what a player does on their turn.

Gloomhaven is a game for 1-4 players, average game time of 60-120 minutes and recommended for ages 12+.

Chaos Cards' site is pretty busy at the moment, so be patient and hope they're not all gone when you finally get access!
REY code for 7% as well?

REY code for 7% as well?

Presumably so. I didn't get as far as adding it to the basket as I have no intention of buying it - plus the site is running like an absolute dog right now...
Yep REY works, down to 71.56

It won't open mobile version. Goes OK on desktop version but just have to zoom in
What? This is a ridiculously good price.

An ebay seller had several for ~£80 a few weeks ago. According to the BGG forum, the copies turned up in good order, so that was the lowest I'd seen it.

But this price from a reputable seller is exceedingly good!
Got one. Massively hot, thanks.
Super hot.
Amazon currently just under £98
managed to grab this one, waited a little but grabbed it
In basket but site ded
Got to checkout and hit pay... Sites crashed!
Great deal. Bought it as a Christmas present for around £95 from magic madhouse a month ago when I thought this was a great deal. This is even better.
"average game time of 60-120 minutes" ho ho ho. It takes at least that to get the game out the box and put it away afterwards. I'm sure its amazing but if you've can't leave it out better be prepared for some time sorting and packing things away.
Cracking deal. Heat added. Was annoyed with myself for not going for the eBay 79.99 one the other day. Delighted with myself now! Haha. Cheers op
Crazy good price, is this even lower than the original Kickstarter price? Either way thanks OP for posting this =)
Would this be an alternative to monopoly or other boring Xmas games with family?

Na. This needs a serious amount of time and a dedicated gaming group. It's a legacy game which means the next game carries on from the previous.

If you want monopoly alternatives though theres plenty out there. My goto is Cash N Guns.... but only because I like to pretend shoot my family!!

Maybe start by looking at "Ticket to Ride Europe", "Sushi Go: Party" or "Survive: Escape from Atlantis". Those three are colourful, enjoyable, family games what are way better than Monopoly. Beyond that there's a whole world of good boardgames out there - excellent British youtube boardgamer reviewers "Shut Up & Sit Down" are a good jumping off point, check out their channel.

I think "Campaign" is a better classification than "Legacy" in this particular case (even though, sure, it comes with stickers).

Yeah good shout. I'm a sucker for industry buzzwords.

I haven’t had a dispatch email as yet no. Although they did take the money so I guess we’ll see.
