This is a very specific deal, so not expecting lots of heat but hopefully it will help any climbers in the market for new ropes. This is by far the best price I can find for anything near this quality.

Go Outdoors currently have 60m Edelrid Perfect Alpine 8.3mm half ropes for £70 delivered. These have an RRP of £130 and were previously £90. They are part of the Pro Line range and have the DryShield, ThermoShield and ProShield treatments to protect the rope and make it more durable. I've only just received my ropes, so haven't used them yet, but every Edelrid rope I've ever used has handled superbly.

Obviously you'll need two of these but £140 for a pair of 60m ropes with top-end treatments is a bargain and roughly the price you'd normally expect to pay for one. These are suitable for trad climbing, Alpine climbing and winter climbing. They can be used as half and twin ropes.

Oh, and 7% TCB too - I've just seen that £8.25 has tracked, making these an even better deal.

60m might be a little excessive!
All I need now is a shovel and a bag of lime and I'm back in the game

I've zoomed in, held it at arms length, squinted, turned it sideways and upside down and I still can't see a dildo.

Just make sure you don't get the lime on the rope!
my goodness! it sounds like you've seen so much prawn that every time you leave the house, you spit on the key before putting it in the lock.
Money for old rope!

But very cheap for something that I entrust my life to!
My maths isn't great but I'm thinking 70 x 2 = £140 for the whole rope, bargain!
Awesome spot! That's a bargain and Dry treated too!

It is actually a whole rope, they're just called half ropes because you use them in pairs. Still very, very cheap for something that may prevent me from dying or being severely injured.

They're heat-treated for handling, Teflon-coated for durability and protection, as well as dry-treated; you couldn't really ask for much more.
