This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

  • Fill level window.
  • Automatic switch off.
  • 12/24v dual voltage kettle.
  • Two stowaway drinking cups.
  • Approximate boil time: 18mins (12v), 10 mins (24v).

The only situation I can see this of use is for either long distance lorry drivers or if you are travelling for many hours in your car with passenger and want to have a hot drink without stopping.

Or if you’re camping and forget your gas canisters. Totally not speaking from experience...! 🙈
Handy if you are stuck on the M1 in the
snow for 12 hours... You can make yourself a cup-a-soup or pot noodle, assuming you have cold weather emergency pack in your car. Lol.

so it makes fish n chips too?
Review comments are understandable. The boil times are very optimistic - the manual states 110w @ 12v and a boil time of 28mins, which sounds about right. If the engine is running this should knock 5 mins off this. The biggest problem with these is the woefully inadequate connectors. Cheap cigarette sockets are simply not designed to take 10A for half an hour. There are alternative connectors that would be up to the job but probably not worth the effort for occasional use.
