Popped into John Lewis and they had quite a few chocolates and goodies in the reduced section. These had 1 week left on best before but they won’t last that long any way!

I’m aware this is store specific but there were about 20 at Vangarde John Lewis and I imagine there will be more in other JL stores with a similar beat before and discount. Plenty of other Godiva chicks on offer but these were by far the best value!

And no, I didn’t buy 3 packs all for myself

But you can sometimes find 90Gm bars of Godiva chocolate (numerous flavours) for less than £2 a bar from Sainsburys.

The flavour selection in here is unreal. The bars don’t even come close but I know what you’re saying

Personally I find Belgian chocolate (Godiva & Guylian) to be a bit sweet for my taste, even though chocolate is generally sweet anyway. I much prefer a good dark choc, 85% cocoa at least.
is it as good as cadburies?

Beware godiva, ever since they were bought by a turkish company they arent always made in belgium. The cheapy bars/boxes in supermarkets are made in turkey.

Ooh, I did not know this. I’ll have to look carefully and see what the box says!

Lmao - I needed this comment after a hard day at work :-P
Gosh, this is actually a really good deal. People ignore the 'made in Belgian' tosh. It's all marketing. Some of the world's best chocolates are made outside Belgium and much of the worlds chocolate is produced by a Belgian company.
This aside - these are (though usually very overpriced and over marketed) still are very nice box of chocolates and at this price are a steal. Grab them if you find them :-).
