The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a next-generation story-driven open world role-playing game, set in a graphically stunning fantasy universe full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. In The Witcher 3, you play as Geralt of Rivia, one of a dying caste of monster hunters, and embark on an epic journey in a war-ravaged world that will inevitably lead you to confront a foe darker than anything humanity has faced so far – the Wild Hunt.

Evolve unique witcher skills to tailor gameplay to your liking; hunt bloodthirsty monsters and develop your signature fighting strategies; use potent battle magic; and slay your way to victory in a truly limitless open world. Stroll, swim, ride, and sail; embark on legendary quests and collect epic bounties. Take control: go anywhere, do anything!

The world burns as the Empire of Nilfgaard pierces through the heart of the kingdoms in the north. Geralt of Rivia is pursued by an enemy devoid of mercy – the Wild Hunt, a mythical cavalcade of ghastly riders, harbingers of doom and destruction, capable of destroying entire settlements overnight. Driven by a deeply personal agenda, Geralt must navigate a maze of hostile forces to find and protect the one described in an ancient prophecy.

Gritty and merciless, the world the adventure plays out in sets new standards in terms of size, ecosystem complexity, and meaningful non-linearity. Experience realistic day and night cycles, observe weather changes that influence gameplay, and conquer the lush environment using arcane witcher lore.

Remember still around £13 using a Ukraine VPN at GOG for the people who don't mind using one. (Season Pass £9). So for around £4 more you can have the game and season pass.

For some reason the GOG sale has the game for £13 on the Netherlands GOG aswell. NE US also and other places. People reporting prices for it changing everywhere.

Your doing that thing again mate. That lack of consistency thing Im not going to get into this whole thing again, because I can't be arsed arguing over it all the time

But I will point out you posted Grim Fandango for £5.99 today (well just over an hour ago) but yet failed to tell anybody in that thread it's only £2.67 using your same VPN tactics.

Or is it only funny to **** all over my threads? (_;)

To be fair this is now £1.06 cheaper than cheapest of the other deals posted in the last few months and cheaper than most by a lot! And i missed even seeing the last post for this as well so I am grateful

I'm voting this cold because I heard you can get it cheaper on Ukraine VPN

I didn't know it was. Grateful for you telling me and would like the comment if you added it in the thread. Cheapest prices are what this site is about. The comment could save people money. It isn't a bad thing.

What's the cheapest Steam deal out there? It matters to me more than it should :'(

finished this at the weekend (70 hours) awesome game from start to finish. not perfect, the combat is fairly weak IMO. Still getting this and change from a twenty is ridiculous value

It truly is a great time to be a PC gamer. Compared with next gen console prices, the fact that you could buy both this and Arkham Knight today for less than £35 is incredible. To buy both on the PS4 would cost you around £40 more.

I'm 15 hours in, but any enjoyment I'm getting out of this game is completely overshadowed by the combat system and cumbersome controls. It's actually getting to me now every time I go to stop but he takes an extra two foot, and how Im stood over something I want to pick up, but have to step away and step back again for the option to show. It's just these little niggles that add up, for me anyway.

Hot even at full price. Best RPG of the year.

I actually agree on both counts with this, more so when I first started to play it. Roach is my biggest bugbear, he just seems to have an inability of actually approaching where it is I am standing which leads me to having to walk to him.

absolutely. the money saved on games comfortably covered the £300 cost of upgrading from a 780ti to a 980ti in one year (i buy a lot of games)

Cheers op you always have best deals

I'm in the same boat bud. Whilst DRM-free is obviously better I just prefer Steam registered games, il be holding out for the Steam version to come down in sales…maybe the summer sale? Rumoured to be this Thursday. I reckon it'll only be 10% though

The way i see it there should be room for both. Some people dont wont or cant do VPN and foreign websites (I have in the past from Origin mexico) and sometimes there are issues with the keys getting blocked later etc. So i think both should be allowed on HDUK and the viewer then has a choice. And its not a ****** competition to see how hot your post gets. So what if a more expensive post is getting more heat than your post. There might be other reasons than solely cost

Well yeah.

But have you tried re-selling a digital PC game lately?

I game on both PC and PS4 and I hate the "PCs are better blah blah blah" cack you get on every thread.

My gaming rig cost £700. And costs a fair whack to run.

My PS4 cost sub-£300 with games.

Yes console games are more expensive, but tbh you get most of that back if you buy physical copies and sell them on.

And yes they don't look as good. But the PS4 Dualshock is gorgeous, and it's actually quite refreshing not having to tweak things or go through the standard PC rigmarole when I want a quick game of something.

No but I buy my console games digitally these days as well. The last disc-based console game I bought was Destiny at launch.

The DS4 is a decent controller but it's battery life is far from decent. Incidentally, the PC versions also run better and will last longer.

What will happen to all the steam games when steam goes bust (not likely) or just decides to stop operating. And their store is bad for consumers, no competition. Admittedly the prices arent as much of a pi55 take as PSN but still they want 40 quid for a new game. A digital game. Pfft

Glad I'm not the only one who saw the bickering as pretty unnecessary. By all means let people know their options but what could you possibly see yourself gaining by trying to force your personal preference onto everyone else? Same goes for DRM free vs Steam (or Origin or Uplay etc.).

Moaning aside this is a great price, didn't expect to see this game go sub £20 here for another month at least. Shame I still can't afford it

Steam didn't have retail competition for a while. Prices were great. Competition came and prices got worse. Competition has turned out to be a bad thing. You have to split your games and use Origin & Uplay. Steam games increased, trading restricted.

Additionally, a lot of games on Steam are DRM-free but none on Origin or UPlay are. Also, Valve do not decide pricing (except for their own games). Pricing is decided by the publishers which is why pricing can be so varied outside of the U.S. (e.g. £35 for Arkham Knight vs £50 for Fallout 4).

Why did competition increase prices? I've found steam prices for some new games to be the same as the cost of that game for PS4 on disk.

Ah. Well stop buying digital console games. You're not doing yourself any favours.

£40 to buy a console game is much much easier to swallow when you get around £30 back for it.

And yeah... I'm well aware of the benefits of PC gaming.

As I said, I do both.

And lately I'm probably using my PS4 more tbh.

GoG does have a new client you can use, though. GoG Galaxy. Seems very good, does have achievements. Can add this as a non-steam game. Not the same thing, but close!
