Not quite as cheap as chips but there's a lot of gaming for £9

haha true but thats as you rightly said insane amount of gaming there for less then a tenner - hard to argue with the value for money here.
Hope the movie stands up!

I'm still trying to finish this years later, love it!
Arguably the best RPG. Waiting to see if Cyberpunk can top this..

I'd be happy if it was just to match it.

Honestly, I don't think it will top Witcher 3. Part of what made The Witcher 3 so successful, is it had relatively low expectations from fans due to not being a very well known series. It came out of nowhere and sucker punched the industry. But expectation is a double edged sword. We're all so hyped for CP2077 that it can't possibly live up to the expecations we have for it. We're expecting an 11/10 so a 10/10 is no longer good enough, if you catch my drift.

I wouldn't have said witcher 3 came out of nowhere, the series has already sold 8 million before 3 came out. I agree about Cyberpunk though, it will really struggle to meet expectations.

Not literally, no, but that's what it would have felt like to most people. Bearing in mind, the 1st game had a PC only release, as did the 2nd game with a limited re-release on X360 later, it was 3 that made the series explode in popularity. Witcher series was barely spoken about by the community before 3.

I would disagree, Witcher was highly popular on sites like Reddit and 4chan.

But yes 3 is when the budget was upped due to the success of 1 + 2. I still think those two are better than 3.
