I don't think Wizz fly from Manchester. We are driving to Luton for our flights. Try looking on www.skyscanner.net You can do a search using UK as the airport and Reykjavik as destination. It will then come up with airports and airlines that have flights to Iceland.

aw08

thank you , i have just tried looking at wizzair from Manchester in dec cant seem to get flights from Manchester ...

yorkie12

No the trip in January will be our first. I have done a lot of research since deciding to go. It will cost £300 to book the two main day trips, Northern lights trip and transfers for the two of us. Have a look on Reykjavik sight seeing website for trips and prices. Got some good info from Iceland forum on TA. You can have a walk around Reykjavik on Google Street View too.One good tip was to take a vacuum flask to use on trips. I'm taking a few packet soups too, seen a bowl of soup and a roll at one place £14. We are doing Northern lights on first night, then if we miss them we'll have another chance the following night for free.

There are donner/kebab places in centre of town, not halal. There is an Indian restaurant called Indus, not halal. Hardly any black or Asian people and you will get stared at sometimes/places. Far right is gaining ground in Poland, have a look n the news, there was a far right march by 200,000 in Warsaw on 11 November which the prime minister of Poland attended. They don't want refugees/immigrants/Jews, but are happy to send over 200,000 Poles to the UK every year!! Avoid.

I bought 2 tickets from Manchester in March for 4 nights inc flights and B&B in the centre of Krakow for £159 each which I'm pretty pleased with. From the Groupon link

Just had this issue myself it states you'll need 2 vouchers to complete the order so yes you'll need to buy another one. Not quite as impressive as first thought.

I stayed in a nice hotel in Pest. There's a very lively strip in Pest with cheap drink and food. I never encountered any drug dealers. However I did encounter 3 'ladies', at night. In my naivety I was thinking 'Ooooohhh 3 women talking to me. Result!'. Until 1 said 'You want sexy time?'. 'Wow you Hungarian women are forward.....ooooohhhhh'. Penny drops.

razorwire

On our last visit we were staying right on Kazinczy Street (next to Bors and only about 5 doors down from Szimpla so right in the heart of things). The closest we came was some English lads in Instant asking me if I knew where to get anything, but that was about 2am in a club. Weird that we didn't see anything else for 2 weeks, I'll be upset if I'm now too old to get offered drugs.

darrenpbond

Don't know what part you went to but after 7/8pm it was absolutely littered with them. Every few yards it was "cocaine?". The taxi drivers were also gesturing 'snorting' to me and friends.

razorwire

Us and all our friends fell in love Pest and can't wait to go back there. We didn't see any drug dealers either (even in the places you'd expect in District VII) but like any city they will be there. My best mate lived in Pest for a few years until last year and he says there's much less of a drugs culture than over here. Taxis are notoriously dodgy in Budapest, like a lot of European cities. Apart from basic overcharging it's been known for people to get their change back in another currency (Indonesian notes or something equally worthless) or get ripped off in other ways. Thankfully there's no real need to use them as the public transport system is absolutely brilliant, and cheap too - buses, trams, metro and trolley bus, it's a really extensive and efficient network.. If you really must get a taxi for some reason then download Taxify and use that - it works in the same way as Uber (except you can either pay by card on your account or in cash) and you won' get ripped off. Tonnes of stuff - tripadvisor will give you more of an idea for the standard sightseeing stuff like St. Stephen's Basilica, Castle Hill etc but for family stuff we loved the Zugligeti Libego Chairlift, the Labyrinth caves, an amazing and unforgettable trip doing 360s and other stunts in a speedboat on the Danube with RedJet, Aquaworld, Margaret Island, thermal pools etc. For adults there is the House of terror, loads of amazing ruin bars and clubs, some great exhibitions, Xmas markets etc. Both the kids and adults loved the Pinball Museum - cheap to get in with absolutely loads of pinball tables and arcade games from the 50s to present day on freeplay.

nuttallacpw

Wouldn't bother trying still trying to get my money back after they can't honour the advertised deal. 69 per person from London on 10th or 11th. I even let them check for any other day that week and they still can't match it.

I had these headphones and I loved them but lost them beginning of thie year and I’ve waited for a deal on them but I’m very dubious about using this company.. maybe I’ll wait for another deal. I paid this for them in Argos in November last year so I’ll hang onand hope!!

AzNDeals

I have these headphones, and honestly they aren't as good as I expected them to be. They've also broken now too.

whok1844

How do we know item is genuine anyway. These companies woocher included just sell the items without veting the gender. The other day I bought a 128gb st memory card from them and luckily I put it on test it was a fake memory card 16gb which they have rewritten the part of the 1st card with 128gb information. Buyer would buy it and start using it till they go pass 16gb and suddenly realised they are looking thier file/ photos. They promptly refund me but did not stop selling them or recall what they had sold. I always think it must be a reason why they sell cheap and usually it's because of quality or items are fake/ copies

We mainly use Mlife players cards, so tend to only gamble in MGM properties. For most trips we are usually breaking even, we don’t gamble that much but it still gets comped rooms. This trip I thought we had lost quite a bit more, but checked my Mlife win/loss when we got back and I was only just over $200 down overall. Not bad entertainment for 12 nights...it cost more than that for the tickets to watch Queen at Park MGM.Hopefully comped nights will appear again for next years trip..It still shows free nights for later this year, but we won’t be going again till next year

confusedx

what was the gambling outcome?.........

Cumbrian.Hammer

We got back from our 18th Vegas trip last week.Hotels Cost £250 for 12 nights as most were comped.Stayed at Strat on an early trip, wouldn’t stay there again,as it’s out of the way and you need to use buses.Hotel itself though is fine.Deuce bus works, sdx bus is quicker with less stops.Dont even visit strat on trips anymore.Wouldnt Be Seen dead in circus circus. I have doubts believing anyone who says they can get resort fees waived. We get free rooms because we gamble, but still have to pay the resort fee on a free room.Only big gamblers who gamble a lot get fees removed.2 free nights in MGM Grand still cost us £64. You want a hotel without resort fees go down Fremont street where I think the Four Queens is one of the last hotels resort fee free....that’ll change sooner or later

slliw

We just got back from Vegas on Thr, we did 9 nights and it wasn’t enough. 4 days? Good luck we barely had gotten over the jet lag. We stayed at Vdara and MGM Grand. There was a 30 min period where the water stopped working due to a leak. Mentioned it at check out and got 2 nights of the resorts fee waived. Also won $700 on the slots. Vegas is life.

Sorry Im a bit confused. I bought the voucher however I have to redeem it to book the hotels and flights. What if the flight times are horrendous? It really should be more clear what it is that we're booking. I know there is a 14 day cancellation option. The Taxi in Prague Airport fares are different, the drivers are tried to rip you off. (Go to same place, but they charge whatever they wanted, you have to confirm the fares before you get in the taxi). If you haven’t been Prague before, the Taxi Driver will charge you £5 - £10 more than usual fares. They are crafty, be careful!!

Great deal. Shame its with ryan air, flights will probably get cancelled .

andygreyrider

I always book direct with the actual company, via credit card and never via an agent. Section 75 protection!

generationz

Milan. Nice place but you need more than a day there. Make sure you make your way back to the right airport after your stay. I ended up at the wrong one and had a mad taxi ride to get to the other before the gate closed. Cost me £150 but just made it in time.

Robdk

I have no problem staying on the outskirts of town for a city break. I've done it myself a few times. I would want it to be in a better hotel than this though and it's far from ideal when you only have one day in Milan. I feel like a broken record on these deals but I'll keep saying it, they're a bad idea. Late arrival flight and early departure means you can't do anything on the 1st and 3rd days. The hotels they include are always poorly located and average at best. If you want to do a city break book your flights and hotel separately. It may cost a bit more but it will be worth it if you want to actually enjoy the break.

sashforth

Not sure what you think luke warm means but I think most people would say 41 degrees is about right. I know that a lot of people don't have access to Makro but this is in the current Makro Mail at £16.79 (including VAT) for a box of 110 but is buy one get one free for 440 tablets works out at £33.58.

Its hardly Luke warm at 41degrees haha..

Surprising that this has moved into luke warm territory. These have been a lot cheaper in the past (might still be) at various discount retailers. I remember my Staples (now Office Outlet) had a huge load of these for £5 for a box of 110 a few months ago. I didn't get any as the reviews I read at the time rated them poorly.
