I picked up a set of these from PCWorld today. I thought they would be black and red, but they were black and karki, which I thinks looks better anyway.

Sound quality is pretty good for the price, but I would not recommend if you have small head. I have a big head and I have it on nearly the tightest setting.

Thanks for the info - Always helpful
HOT!!
Thanks, just reserved a pair at my local currys, I have the on ear ones, and there quite good, fancied the over ear ones.
Nice reserved. Will do fine im sure for listening to pod whilst cutting my grass. The garden that is
I got a pair of £12, they weren't worth that. Maybe £6 would make a difference.

I just bought this and they are probably going back - too flimsy and can't see them lasting long at all. Certainly not worth the crazy rrp of over £30. At £6 I still think I've seen better deals on here. Will decide overnight what to do. I think most people will be disappointed when they see it in the flesh - not solid at all and the sound bleeds badly
Well lesson learned; if your local store says they have less than 3 of anything in stock, it means they've either been stolen or taken off the shelf by staff. Won't bother with Currys again.

I had a go on a few of the display headphones comparing with the same foo fighters song and I'd say I got the best sound from the Sony zx300 and the Philips cityscape Shibuya's. I did try beats too but I won't add to the bashing, especially as I don't see myself spending more than £50 for headphones ever.

So because Currys have theives in their stores you will not bother with them again. This does not leave you anywhere to shop as all stores have theives.
For £6 it has to be worth a punt and if they're crap it's only £6 lost. Hardly worth stressing over.

These are very poor quality headphones - lots of sound leakage and lacking anything approaching bass. Even as £6 headphones, they're just not worth it.
just got home with my pair there is alot of sound leak however they are nice headphones for doing the gardening listening to the pod and the guy with the size problem you must have a head like beetlejuice when his head shrinks cos they are far from massive. they are better size/fit than most iv had over 100 pounds and i dont have a big head and i had to adjust them to make them bigger
I bought myself JVC ones from ASDA for £15 yesterday. Perfect for listening to music in bed. they replaced a similar Sony pair that stopped playing sound in one earphone. Cost about the same and lasted 2 years. So if someone were to buy these for £6 and they only last a year it's still fine. These would be perfect for going on holiday and you didn't mind them getting broken or stolen. Not saying they'd be good enough to replace my main pair but good enough
TO BE HONEST: I reserved this and went in to currys to collect, every sales staff told me that they were the most basic value headphones that weren't really worth. To my luck there were some skull candy low rider for £12- which i have now and are amazing. I think some stores still have a few skull riders at £12.. call and check I was lucky!!

AGREED - I tested them in store. dont waste your time.

lots of sound leakage.

It does state they are open back (or open 'acoustic', as they call it), so leakage is pretty much a given. You can't critisize them for that.
You can critisize them for saying they're ideal for travel though (unless you like annoying everyone around you).
Always cracks me up when people slate headphones.

They are £6 for gods sake. Don't expect Bose or anything else.
I bought temporary headphones for £4 in B&M Bargains to tide me over till I bought a decent pair. Got these this evening. Think I'll go back to my B&M pair tomorrow.
I have been after a set of headphones for the kids - perfect, peace and quiet for me .....
Shame - no microphone!
by the way the ear pieces are massive, went into the store and tried them on! And I mean really big dont be fooled by the picture.
Paid a couple of quid more a few weeks ago - sound quality is pretty bad, but they made a pretty good case for my sennheiser retrofitting - pity the cable broke on me a few days ago Going to change it to removable cable so I can just buy 99p cables when they break.
You folks make me laugh, £6 quid and your comparing them to ... ? £150 - £300 quid headphones...

LOL

The only thing you should be thinking of if rating these is, what else can I get for £6, How hot the deal is simply, these headphones for £6 ... good or bad.

Im sure you would prefer the tesco's value ones instead?

End of the day, will make an awesome stocking filler at Christmas.

I'm comparing them to £4 earphones, and they don't compare. They're not worth £6 if you're not gonna use them.
I reserved these last night only to get a call this morning to say they don't have any in store. I went to the store anyway and picked up the ones for £3.97 on the other deal I've only used apple in ear ones and these seem good to me, especially for the price.
I picked mine up just now they are green and black and excellent for £6:-) hot as they are great value and i love them!!!

No need to be big headed about it!
Returned mine , they were rubbish really

Reserved 2 pairs travelled 10 miles to pick them up, only one reserved and wrong colour.
