Ordered one thanks

ordered 2 thanks, may not be brilliant but rather that than dissapointed kids

My Daughter had one last Christmas - It's rubbish! The coin moulds fell apart. We had more fun melting the choclolate and buying individual moulds ourselves!

Many thanks. Just got 2 for the kids.
Voted hot!!!

Well i've given it a go for £6.95, all is not lost if its rubbish at that price. Voted hot.

one thought I have is wonder when the best before data is on the chocolate or do you have to use your own with these sets?

Another vote for "rubbish" here.

Used once, had to resort to the microwave to melt the chocolate. Another pile of junk consigned to the back of the cupboard.

The disappointment of not having one will be much less than the disappointment with the results.

ordered one thanks, good for this price i paid £15 last xmas for a friends son

Fab price, £15 anywhere else but my sons friend had one at Xmas last year and it has been used once and then has been sitting in the cupboard since as the actual toy isn't that great ....

Got one last Christmas for my son, he was disappointed with it. Save yourself some money and buy a couple of 1kg bars of Cadburys to melt down instead!

out of stock now

Rubbish or not they're out of stock now

aww thanks for that was getting a bit worried:oops:
and if it doesnt work it wont go in the back of the cupboard as John Lewis will get it back! lol

We got it for our kids age 8 and 11. A waste of money! they were so disappointed it didn't live up to the pictures on the box or adverts on the tv.

Trying to melt the chocolate took forever.
Trying to fill the coin moulds without any air bubbles and sliding the lid ontop almost impossible, even with adult help!
Difficult to emboss the patterns on the foil wrap.
Also don't expect to produce more than two/three coins at a time.

It went back to Toys r us. The manager said they've had quite a few of them back with the same problems I'd mentioned.
