This has got to be hot just for a good laugh!

whos gonna want to buy that?

Thanks for the heads-up! Just got one myself!

Love this show, cheers OP.

Seasons 2 and 3 are £8.99 each at HMV

Voted Hot, because of the Price, but four of the most hideously vile and unpleasant old crones one could ever have the displeasure of watching. Add the 'over americanism' and the weak weak WEAK acting into the goeey chronic title music and you have a vomit inducing slice of self serving typical yankee b******cks with less screen appeal than me! and thats saying something...

If you want to see old people being funny watch One foot in the Grave, not people from a race thats in love with itself anyway, posturiing around one set, repeating the same old joke episode after episode...

I was forced to watch this everytime I went around to visit my mother.. after about 5 episodes I was considering turning her in to the local authorities for child abuse....

oh.... in my opinion.

Other that that.... BRILLIANT! heat added!

You're not keen on the Golden Girls, then?

Excellent price. I bought this collection for my Mum for Christmas and paid around £12 for it.

I'm sure they were all very nice ladies... but the way the thing was scripted was just so typical of an Era of US comedy that I thought was self adoring and just didnt travel any further than 10 metres outside of the States in viability. No disrespect intended to the actresses (Many of who have passed on since) but the characters they played were.... not to my taste..... at all.

If you do like it though this is a fantastic price...:) for what must tot up to 10 or more hours worth .... its just that in my opinion the tape used would have been better used as twine to secure notices for lost dogs to lamp posts.

I remember it well.....When my late wifes waters broke one Friday night at 7:00pm nearly 18 years ago, we had to stay at home until 11:00pm so that she could watch Coronation Street, Vic Reeves and then Golden Girls before going to hospital...:w00t: I don't care what any one else says it's great entertainment...

The Least Funny Comedy of All Time- and thats official

Actually all 'The Golden Girls' are still alive!

Bea Arthur and Betty White are both 86, Rue McClanahan is 74 and Estelle Getty (the second youngest is 85.) They are all in good health except Estelle Getty who has Parkinson's Disease.

Anyone else think the 1 on the left is a geezer?

Betty White, (or rather her voice), has featured quite regularly in Family Guy! Quite an alternative to her Golden Girl persona too!
