I'm back again with the 4 pack of vinegar. a bargain price for 20L of the stuff. Works out at just under 32p/litre! which is a great deal if you want to bathe in it!

Joking aside, this vinegar is food grade, so suitable for all your kitchen & also cleaning needs. I’ve purchased this previously and it’s great for pickles, dressings, homemade flavoured vinegars and also my main use for this is cleaning. It does a sparkling job of this shower glass doors, stainless steel sinks and just generally for all purpose cleaning. Living in a hard water area this is very handy for descaling the kettle without the nasty chemicals. You can even give you washing machine etc a spin with this to help deodorise it if you really wished! So many uses, good deal in my opinion,

Good for when you have crabs and have to have a vinegar bath.
White vinegar is top cleaning stuff- I use it hot ( heated in workshop microwave) to clean tools used for epoxy resin in laying up glass fibre and carbon fibre. The only other things that will shift uncured or part-cured epoxy are pretty noxious things like MEK and acetone.
Admittedly not a lot of people will find that useful, but then again....!
Great for cleaning the dishwasher and making homemade weed killer.

Oh and it’s nice on chips

I would say some washing machine manufacturers advise against using this in machines and it may effect your warranty.

Great for cleaning and on food. Heat added.
I've ordered this before. Unfortunately my clever delivery man left it in the bottom of my wheelie bin - fun retrieving 20 heavy litres of the stuff!
Hot! Half of what I paid for my last lot. Well worth stocking up at this price.

What if the question is what can I use as an eye bath?
Haven't subscribed to S&S before, so there was a promotion available - 20% off first subscription order, bringing the total down to £4.79. Might help others who haven't subscribed before.

I'll throw a little in with the next wash then.
Thank goodness it won't affect my warranty

Don't forget that soup and water are a great way to clean things.

as far as i have worked out, the first delivery of s&s that you have paid for you get at the price you ordered it at but if you don't cancel the s&s and you get further subscribed deliveries you pay the price it is at the time its despatched whether it is more or less than the first delivery.

Vinegar is sour, not bitter.

Is this any good for descaling toilets? I live in a very hard water area.
Any way to get free delivery on this?
Is this spirit vinegar or a pearl barley
I use white vinegar as a cleaner, descale kettle and use in dishwasher to clean it on clean cycle (no dishes in)
Bought this twice mainly as a weed killer mixed with salt and a drop of washing up liquid...works a treat and no harm to my pets.

Meaning of life?
In my experience, white vinegar is just about ok for very mild descaling (as in a very thin film of limescale) but anything heavier requires a dedicated descaling product, such as Oust, which is far more effective.

As a weedkiller, white vinegar isn't much cop either... it's not systemic, so doesn't affect the roots. The leaves will turn brown and the visible part of the weed may die, but it'll be back again in a couple of days as the roots are unaffected. A dedicated herbicide such as Glyphosphate is extremely effective and lasts months before there is regrowth, since it's systemic.

Zzzzzzzzzz🤤
I use this in my washing machine instead of fabric conditioner. 80mls in the fabric conditioner compartment for a full load. It leaves my clothes and other items lovely and soft - and they don't smell of vinegar! Fabric conditioner leaves a petrochemical film around fibres which inhibits wicking, which is why it shouldn't be used with towels. Use vinegar and your towels, bed linen, gym clothing etc. will remain absorbent and wick body moisture beautifully. I talked to a scientist friend about it and she said wash powder/liquid is very alkaline and tends to make fibres more rigid. Vinegar, being acidic, neutralises this alkalinity which is why the results are so good. Of course, as someone else pointed out, the big fabric conditioner companies are not going to tell you this!

What kind of soup would you recommend for cleaning. I imagine Tomato would need removing with vinegar??
