Too small to keep a decent sized fish in and defiantly too small for two of any size.

Too small.

One Word! CRUEL!

Great, be perfect for the kids robofish.

wow, comes with a plastic plant, the fish will love that..spend a little more on a proper tank and pump, it will look better and the fish wont look so miserable..

good for a robofish.

a round bowl is so cruel, perfect for those robofish though!

Terrible size avoid!

May be useful to pop one or two fish in while you're cleaning out your regular sized tank, or to isolate a fish that is unwell.

I've had one for over a year, fish is small and hasn't died

A single tail goldfish can live for up to 20 years and grow to around 15 inches, they actually require very large tanks (around 6ft) if kept inside. Any goldfish kept in a small container will suffer and have a premature death. Fancy goldfish can be kept in smaller (3ft or more) tanks.

I saw these in The Works and thought it was a toy at first. I couldn't believe these kind of fish bowls are still for sale or that anyone would want to put a real fish in one. Love the robofish idea though.

I think we deffo got the "robofish" motif on this one.....

Definitely too small for any fish. However might be ideal for somebody to want to start keeping shrimp.

People really need to give up on this belief that goldfish are a small fish that can be kept in a small tank and has a lifespan of a 1 or 2 years. If you want a small tank (10+ litres), get a beta. If you can't afford/don't want something that size, you need a robofish.

Any reputable pet shop will refuse to sell you a goldfish if you tell them you have a bowl like this. Save up and buy a proper one with filter and pump and plenty of space to swim.

Cruel, will stunt your fish and it will be choking on its own waste and ammonia, would be like trying the breathe but being strangled for 5 years or how short it's life span would be in this rancid fish bowl

These should be banned, or just for toy use

Yes Goldfish are an extremely quick polluter of water if its not filtered and controlled correctly

Fish require oxygenated water - Water without an air pump will soon loose its oxygen and the fish will suffocate. A bad product IMO and you'll just commit the fish to an early death.

It should be made illegal to keep goldfish in this type of tank.

I have 2 of these except I don't keep fish in them ... I filled mine with soil and put plants in them

Well no actually, if you have a circulatory water filter system and there is motion on the surface of the tank you can dispense with an aeration stone type system on tropical tanks

Cold. Don't encourage people to buy this. It's cruel unless changed with chlorine remover in water

do not buy! cruel to keep any fish in such cramped and unfiltered conditions. if u want fish do some research online on proper conditions required before u buy...

Some people shouting 'cruel' to op.
Isn't cruelty keeping a creature in a tank (whatever size) for your amusement?

Its about providing a decent quality of life for the animal what ever it is, the same as you have to work for your family and maintain your standard of living can that not be defined as cruel by your standards?
