Sexy!

Delicious!

Ordered one of these the other day as a spare.. a no brainer at this price. Until I receive them I can't comment on sound quality but I do have the DR150's and they sound absolutely stellar with the CA 540 amp. Really punchy bass and perfectly balanced to my ears.

Anyone think these would be a great improvement over the Creative Fatality Headset? The microphone is broke on my headset so they are essentially a pair of headphones now anyway.

I wouldn't touch anything by Goldring after my Goldring noise-cancelling earphones fell apart within a couple of weeks, along with those of pretty much everyone else here who also got them as part of the same What Hi-Fi promotion. I'm not voting either way, though.

If you have to ask then I would suggest no.

To even compare Creative to Goldring is just plain wrong. Its like comparing a Ford to a Bently.

Didn't Bentley earn their reputation by consistantly building high-quality vehicles that look great for many decades rather than by giving large wads of cash to the enthusiast crowd in exchange for special promotions and 5-star reviews, though?

Typical, bought some for the mrs a few weeks ago for £25

Bargain for some proper phones. Shame you look a fool riding the bus in these sort of large cans.

Nice.

My NS1000's are fine.. after a few months of use (including one holiday abroad) and the DR100/150's are built much more robustly than the latter. Don't knock them unless you've tried them

My Shure EC3s snapped on both sides at the same part of the cable near the earpiece and I got them for a 'bargain' £120. So it can happen to the best of them as well.

My EC3s broke too, to be honest given the cost I wont touch shure again. Miss having large cans like my senn 650's, but not very useful when they leak sound out for everyone to hear.

These are a steal at this price, I bought a pair a few weeks ago for £19.99 (I think) and they are great.

Really well reviewed against far more expensive Sennheisers.

I would say the Goldrings would be better.

I must correct myself though the ones I bought were the DR150, which were £29.99 in June. I still reckon these will be fantastic for the money.

I've used a pair of these for over 2 years day in day out at work and they still both look and sound great. Build quality is excellent, sound quality is great and this price is fantastic (I paid over £30).

I've got the 150's but these are bargainous!

Thought people who ride the bus look fools full stop....................... Bus w**k**s......... ;-)

I've had 4 pairs of GX-200 (or something like that), all of which died a very premature death. If these combine the trreific sound quality of those with acceptable build quality they'd be a steal.

They're described as open-backed.
Does this mean that they're not suitable for use in an open-plan office at hight volumes???

I'm looking at getting some headphones, came across these ones too:

Sennheiser HD201 - £16.29

amazon.co.uk/gp/…4CF

Can anyone advise which are the better out of these two please?

The online reviews look good . . .
Anyone else have thoughts??

I already posted that these are good! They're almost as good as my Astro A40s - I bought some of these goldrings along with a line splitter so the mrs could watch movies with me early/late and no disturb. Really good with blu, sky hd, music and games. Try them, you won't be disappointed and they are quite a step up from the DR50s which are normally the same kind of price!

Out of stock now

now £28

None left at the cheap price!
