I've got news for you.

It's £9.44.
A weight lifting belt's purpose isnt back support per-se. It's to increase intra abdominal pressure during a lift. That in turn supports the spine amongst other things.
Diaphragm, all the abdominals, obliques, pelvic floor muscles etc etc all come into play.
This also needs to have a phone holder on it, and somewhere to attach a selfie stick.

Yes, If your jeans have 4" loops on.
How much stronger will this make me?
Thank you OP my deadlifts increased by 100KG because of this. For only £9.44 an increase of 100Kg!!

I fluctuate between 33 and 36 waist depending on if I'm bulking or cutting.

Not sure if I should get a medium or large! :/

Edit. Medium out of stock. Shame. Think Large will be too big.

Punch some holes into it
A note to anyone purchasing this, it's only to be worn on your heaviest lifts, to provide stability. All too often I see people in the changing room putting it on at the same time as their trainers. That in actually fact will lead to core weakness....

Ask the guy the other boxing thread, he can punch holes straight through leather with his fist.

He’s right here, but also don’t be one of these who wears one all the time as your lower back won’t strengthen as well and you could end up with other back issues
Would a 6" belt be better than this? Have recently moved into 100kg+ territory and a (borrowed) belt was a help for me as a new weightlifter.

Top price regardless

Depends on your height actually if youre a taller guy then opt for a 6''inch.

How is it too big if you go up to a 36? A medium only goes up to 34

If you want a weightlifting belt, get a proper weightlifting belt. Companies like strengthshop, Zuluglove and SBD make proper weightlifting belts. Just note that if you ever wanted to compete in the IPF (if you don't know what that is, don't worry), you'll need an IPF-approved weightlifting belt and some models aren't. If you want the Rolls-Royce of weightlifting belts, look at a company called Inzer (and gawk at how much they cost).

I have Zuluglove weightlifting belt. It cost £60 and has lived for at least 5 years (and has no end in sight). A belt like the one in the OP is literally a waste of money targeting curl bros.
SBD all the way... wouldn’t dream of wearing these cheap belts unless u wanna injure yourself.
