I made the mistake of buying a flush fitting bracket, once the TV is on the wall its impossible to access the various inputs that aren't down the side, eg I had to remove TV to plug in the optical cable for the sound bar I had purchased.

Yea this is a good point.
Most of the new TVs though have ports on the sides

    So this doesn't tilt?

Why is this rated for 55"? Any reason I can't put a 65" on it if the VESA mount is compatible and the weight is not even half the rated maximum? (edited)

Also want to know this, as I need this but in the future would I need to buy a new bracket if I wanted a 65" TV, if so then might aswell buy one that can hold up to that in the first place

i bought this last week and i dont recommend it. its difficult to screw the bottom screws because they are so far up and need a really long screw driver.

    Thanks OP
I usually fix the TV brackets that are needed in the family and as there are small additions it gets
into doubke figures for number of brackets, Not the Additions, 5 Grandchildren so far, so the loo is about the only place
where there`s no TVs. The majority of the brackets I have put up all the have the same type of fault,
I usually get the smallest capable person available to tighten up those Bolts, lot dearer than buying long screwdriver but
lot more fun at Christmas time and summer hols lol.
