A PC with:

Ryzen 7 2700 8cores/16threads

Rx 590

A320 motherboard - upgrade to b450 for 20 pound more

8gb 2400mhz ram - upgrade to 16gb 3000mhz for 35 pound more.

With these upgrades it should come out to be a decent streaming/gaming pc

Eh... Who puts an a320 motherboard with a Ryzen 2700... I would put off when anyone even thought about doing that!

... I see that but they shouldn't offer a320 in the first place

Some people will never even attempt to OC their computer (those will be the same people who buy pre-built strangely enough), in which case it makes no difference to have an a320 motherboard.

I just bought a 2600x with an a320 mb. Was on a tight budget. They came to £177.45.

Should I have held out for a price drop? Tbh I really don't care about OC, most game now just don't need it
2400 ram?! Jesus are these people on ribena happy juice?! 3000 should be standard with the option to upgrade to 3200! I’m surprised it’ll post with such low speeds lol or take 20 mins to boot

It's not just over clocking... Even without the vrms aren't meant for a high end chip and will get pretty toasty

You’re just over exaggerating it, without the CPU being OC’d the temperatures will be absolutely fine (even with a stock cooler). If you have no interest in overclocking the CPU then the a320 is absolutely fine. It wouldn’t be my choice, but it would run perfectly fine.
