First deal so please be nice.
I found this on toys r us. may not be as good as MikeT's Dell special but guess can be of used to someone.
not sure about brand etc but processor is good. you can always upgrade memory and other bits later

Thats actually pretty damn good mate IMO. Graphics card is poor but then DELLS always are too on their deals and it's cheap(ish) to upgrade providing the motherboard can handle it. Well spotted.

Seems alright. No indication of motherboard PCI-e slot for future upgrade of graphics. Would be sensible to check out in store first.

And how are Gateway still in business?!

In case anyone does not notice, it does not include a monitor.

Of course it's going to have a PCI-express slot. Gateway are owned by Acer.

You would like to think so, but stranger things have happened. It could for all intents and purposes, be an AGP slot. Highly unlikely, but perfectly possible And being owned by Acer would probably have something to do with being in business then!
