I bought a couple of these last weekend and fitted one during the week. Adjustable duration of illumination and at what level of daylight you want it to come on at. Nice bright pool of light for where I need it Downside is that the bulb (LEDs) cannot be replaced but that is why at this price I bought two. Clearance item so hope if you want one you can find it. £37.85 +£1.99 delivery on Amazon.

Love a bit of security whilst having a wee!
Is there a way to adjust the distance, my driveway is only 3m long and don’t want it to turn on every time a car passes by on the road?
Didn't know accents come through text too.
Is it made by Nintendo

Just use a bit of black tape to mask a bit of the sensor.

The sensor is not adjustable however I have seen in other PIRs that you can try masking off part of the sensor with insulating tape so that it can't 'see' that area.
Never needed a security light when having a wee

I’ve got one of these. The sensor can be rotated horizontally by 180 degrees to direct it to the desired angle. It is not adjustable in the vertical plane. It is very sensitive to movement and surprisingly gives off a really good amount of light. I’m very happy with it.
Just ordered last one in Bridgend Wales

You've never lived until you do need one.
Can I turn the light through 90 degrees. Reason is I want to fit one down a path down the side of my house and I want to screw it to the side of the house. But I need the light to shine at 90 degrees to the wall. (Hope this makes sense).
How far does this illuminate in the dark?

I get that. Have a halogen pir light. And it's always lighting up. And having a pvc door with big glass it brightens up the hallway. Very annoying. And at times you'd walk up to the door and it won't light up at all
Thanks OP, I'm collecting one this week.

Fitted this last month - its amazing build quality for the price & extremely bright lights.
Got one pointing down at the door, the other up the drive

No, the light part only turns about 10 degrees. I'd suggest getting an "L" bracket that is used for shelves and mounting to that.

Actually, having bought one, I'm quite impressed. The lamp head is a heavy die-casting with nice heatsink fins. The circuitry is on a fibreglass PCB and includes a MOV for transient suppression, and proper EMI filtering. It has a gasket between each part of the three-part case, and it includes an O-ring and a seal for the screw holes, and a seal for the cable entry.

No fuglier than any other PIR light - and in fact less fugly than most, because it's smaller.

I'm not sure sensitivity adjustments are particularly useful on these, especially considering that at lower temperatures I think they will be more sensitive (because the difference between body and ambient temperature is greater). You need to adjust the detection area. I have prevented mine from lighting up when someone walks past by masking the upper part of the dome with tape, so that it can only "see" at quite a steep angle downwards.

Iv got it installed but it only detects from a couple of meters away. Which direction do I need to turn the sensor to have it at its maximum range? Thanks

Sorry I can't say. I had a look at mine when someone commented that the sensor was adjustable but mine seems to be fixed, I can't rotate it horizontally to direct it in a different direction. It is fine for me so not much of a help, sorry.

Aha. Yes. Its not now and the sensors hardly triggered. I have to just and wave my hand in front of the sensor to light it. Lol
