Not HD ready. no point in upscale freeview as it isnt HD

Not HD ready (so no HDMI port either).
Awful contrast ratio.
Even WORSE response time.

All in all a terrible TV that no one would be happy with.

Got the 27" for £225 -just set it all up with a HD upscaling digi box (£20).

Pic is fab - all the reviews I read said you need to mess about with the pi, but I turned it from cool cinema, to normal/normal & the pic is fantastic.

Certainly worth the cash.

Anyone know how to remove the base so i can stick it on the wall ?

the answer is with difficulty, takes bloody ages!

I have just got one and its hd and picture is brill no difference from my samsung 50 in tv

By the way, I didnt realise that TV was this old - almost 7 years.
