Ordered thanks

Got my tv on the wall ,used two metal brackets from the tv (where the legs screw in)and mounted this under .Looks like it is almost floating under tv (50" ) Just a little shorter, looks good ,ok sound for money + bluetooth.

Ordered thanks

Not going to vote, but this can barely be any better than tv speakers, therefore quite possibly a waste of £22

got this from eBay a while back, for the price it's good, sound is decent and has a nice volume, with added bonus of bluetooth, obviously they are better sound bars but not for this price

20w? I know it's cheap but why bother? It won't be any better than the built in TV speakers.

Cheapish if you want to put something in the bedroom so you can play out music from a device or whatever. Paid £20 for the Jam Classic bluetooth speakers, and I think this soundbar can edge it for distributing noise (not the same portability though).

I bought this in Tesco on Sunday, it was £24 in store. Yeah.... Don't expect too much to the sound quality. It's £24 after all.

Was about to order, then did somr measuring and realized it's wider than my tv stand (32" telly) and would look a bit daft overhanging each side. Good price, though.

So if this connects to the headphone jack then would you still use the tv remote to change the volume? Or are you forced to still use the soundbar controls?

Yeah watch out 20W is crap maaaannnn. I need 25MW of power PMPO before it sounds radical.

It's a cheap Bluetooth enables sound bar made by a company that trades on past reputations. It won't make it into Home Theatre Weekly product of the Millennium and it will not make a mid to high end TV sound better.

What it will do is add some oomph to a bedroom TV or provide a wall mountable speaker system for any room in the house. While it is easy to criticise the quality of this, please find something that provides better quality for either the price or relatively better for a little more.

So install it in the kitchen... bluetooth music to it from your phone... SING WHILE YOU COOK BABY!

Paid £24. Knew it was cheap. Knew it wouldn't perform miracles. Still well worth the money. I can now have wireless music at BBQ's at the bottom of my garden.

I was happy enough with mine. Improves the sound on the TV and i use the Bluetooth to connect my google play music and it sounds good.

The TV remote controls the volume.

The TV remote controls the volume.

But surely you would not want that, if you was using a soundbar presumably you would have the tv sound down, or there would be a slight delay between tv and soundbar, surely using the tv remote to up the volume of the soundbar would also up the tv sound?

Amazon £34.99 now.Edit,scrub that,3rd party seller.But Amazon showing dispach between 1-3 months!
Normal supersaver delivery of late then.
Lets force them all onto prime!

Not if it plugs it into your tvs headphone socket, as 'most' tvs will mute the speakers when the socket is used.

I plugged white and red cables into my 2 yr old lg tv and nothing came through speakers....

Thanks, heat added bought for the kitchen £19.80 after discount.:)

On LG TVs you have to change the audio settings to enable/disable TV speakers/external speakers. At least that's the case on mine!

you couldnt make it for that money but it aint worth it either...truly ironic oO

If you can get your head around it not being a Bose/Bang Olufsen and be realistic with the sound quality with it being only £22 I think you'll find it's cracking value for a small room with bluetooth capabilities.

My two cents worth.

I have this soundbar pretty cool have it connected to my Sky box and my Now TV box great sound paid £24 for it @ Tesco heat added...

i bought this a while back when tesco had it of offer for 30. waste of money lol, the tv speakers had better output!

Sorry opp but it's goodmans if it was free would have it sorry cold from me peeps if you buy you would be extremely disappointed

I bought the Goodmans 50W one for £25 RTC in ASDA and it is infinitely better than my TV speakers. Totally fills the room

Just inflecting the question slightly, do you think if 10 year old kids had this instead of a) the speaker on a 2007 Samsung TV and b) cheap PC speakers they would think it was an improvement? By which I mean to say they are likely to judge based on how intense it feels more than sound quality. They'd only be listening to video games soundtracks.

just to warn you i got 2 of these last week and sending them back tomorrow. Sound quality is poor and the tv speakers are much better than this. The 40w or 50w version of the goodmans is ok but the 20w isnt even worth the £20 imho

pretty much what i was thinking

I'm not voting either way but I picked one up for £24 from Amazon the other day.

Have to say I wish I didn't bother, I would gladly try the 50w version as the build quality, usability & looks are pretty decent. Sound quality is poor (don't know what I extected tbh!), I wanted to give a little more umph to my telly but it's barely noticeable.

If anyone wants it for £20 just give me a shout! (I'm in Stoke)

I have to agree. I got one today and thought to myself that while it provides me with louder sound than my TV, they also sound more hollow than the TV speakers.

Given the price, I didn't expect too much from it but I expected a bit more.

Not true, not only is it better than the sound of both my TV's, but the added feature of Bluetooth is great for listening to music from my phone, etc. I bought one for £24 in January, and would happily recommend it at that price now. For two quid less, it's hard to see how anyone can grumble. Unless you have flawless sound from your TV, this will likely be at least moderately better, and just in general soundbars benefit by directing the sound towards to viewer, rather than at right-angles to the viewer form the TV's bezel.

everyone saying don't expect to much in regards to the sound quality.......it's a **** sound bar!

maaaaaannnn?

Radical??

why do you need a soundbar on your surfboard dude?

...didn't "soundbar" used to mean " a thin strip of speakers that can throw sound around the room to attempt to mimic having a full surround setup without the bother of having speakers everywhere "?

it seems this is just a couple of PC speakers in a long tube right?

or am I wrong?

I have one of these on my desk using it as computer speakers under a triple monitor display. Use for a TV?....probably not, but it has its uses and i've never been happier (though the cheap soundbar I have doesnt have bluetooth, but does have a built in subwoofer)

I have this sound bar, it's not bad at all!

Much better than TV speakers btw
