Thanks dino

What about Firmware and Map updates?

I've checked on the Goodmans website and it's not very clear

had this last year and couldnt get any map updates,,also might be worth noting that i had to send this back for a replacement 3 times in 1st year due to speaker not working and ended up getting a refund

i personally wouldnt touch 1 of these sat navs again, but this is a good price as i paid £200 last year

I'd go as far as saying don't touch anything Goodmans. Had a car cd/mp3 player which lasted all of 40 minutes! The brand has got to be the modern day binatone!

Yep, agree. Although I have no experience of this unit.

Being a Goodmans it'll probably be rubbish.

I've got a Navman 720, which is better than the built in Nav system in my car. But if you don't want to spend that much on a sat nav unit, you can buy a new Navman (budget model) for about £100 or so - which would probably be a better buy than this.

Europe maps at this price is good - any one know if the software is any good - how about 7 digit postcode?
