Cheap enough to buy and donate to the local youth club to give these guys something to play their records on.

Are you really trying to compare a Rega RP6 vs this Goodmans?

Of course it'll ruin your records compared to your deck but I'd sincerely hope no person on earth buying this would do so to plauy their prized record collection

I was going say you must be new here but I see you've been around a while

Can't say I'm surprised a £16,000 turntable went cold though, it's a somewhat niche product
But being serious a minute. I'd spend abit more. £100 - £200 can get you a good budget deck.
Needs this power cable to get the best of it. Should also work wonders with the Goodmans unit.

I just refurbed my 34 year old Trio (now Kenwood) deck with a new belt and stylus, for 15 quid lol....sounds great....much better picking up an 80s deck cheap of eBay or Gumtree than buying this junk.

I'd avoid those Ion decks,I know a few people who have bought and returned them...I'd guess Richer Sounds would be the best place to get something half decent or at least see/ hear one working.

Sending your music through low grade analogue components and then highly compressing it via Bluetooth, there's a recipe for good sound... The worst of both worlds.

Of the 2 the turntable components are no way near as blasphemous as the Bluetooth compression.
Saw someone buy one today at the Reedswood branch in Walsall, where there seems to be a few left. Now scanning at £15 for those that still want one.
