Knitting needles are cheaper.

It's a joke! HOT!!!
Nice find but there’s a reason they’re so cheap.
Might give this a spin.

Because they've been reduced?

Well that too Captain Obvious but mainly because they’re shi*e.

Does this play records at 78 rpm...
If you want to damage records... Then it's HOT
I’ve never understood the people who buy this kind of thing to listen to vinyl.
You listen to vinyl because of the sound quality and then put it on this, you might as well listen to mp3.
Please don't play your vinyl on these things!
Unless its Paloma Faith.

Remember to pick up some brillo pads in BM at the same time when you buy this player, then before you play any of your vinyl albums on it, take them all into the kitchen and give each vinyl a good scrubbing under the hot water with a brillo pad for about 10 mins each, then dry with some old kitchen towel, now you will not have to worry about this player doing any damage to your collection....no need to thank me for this tip. lol
Spending 3x more on a vinyl than on the deck you are playing it on is just stupid.

That's like buying £1000 tyres and putting them on a £300 car.

Totally agree - Think even a **** MP3 player would sound better than this thing.
Checked in my local, three different colours including the one in picture in the post, and all are scanning at £35 on the B&M app.

Yup, does 33.3, 45 and 78rpm. Might need to replace the stylus for a suitable one for shellac discs.

Scratch that.
I have one and it's fine. Never damaged any of my records.
