Good luck with F1 Autocentres. More cowboys than Rio Grande!

You can get Quidco with them too.

Never had any problems with them in Swindon..

Agreed, I've used the guys in Wigston, Leicester and have had good service each time

These were considerably noisier than my Pirellis. I'll check db at next change.

Bought 2 of these offline and got quoted £10 a tyre to fit @ F1 Autocentre. Took the car in, fitted and tracked. Looked over the car when finished, every spoke of my Penta alloys scratched on the outside of both front wheels. Not saying the centre is at fault, but poor fitter. Ultimately they paid for the refurbishment.

Heat added though, this rubber is unbelievable ! !

No relevant to good deals or this thread but I prefer bridgestone

I bet you haven't even used them before

excellent company, great deal

Will never use F1 autocentre again! Very bad experience with them in Milton Keynes

Wish I'd gone for these instead of the Pirelli crap that's on my car atm.

Yup, F1 a bunch of cowboys, that was my experience. Haven't been near them since. Mind you, they're all nearly as bad, at least where I live.

£76.79 at Tyreleader. Though you'd have to pay for fitting.

I recently ordered a couple of Hankook's to home and a local tyre place fitted them for about £8/tyre. They were way cheaper than anywhere else even with the £8 fitting fee. Delivery to my home was about 2 days from the point of ordering.

Father-in-law and I took our cars in for mot within a month of each other to these guys and both cars were failed on same handbrake fault and both quoted over £100 to fix. Father-in-law thought genuine fault so got them to fix and pass it. I was suspicious over mine so took to local garage who confirmed my handbrake had no problems whatsoever and even if it did have the fault then it would have been no more than £50 (including labour) to fix.

From my experience (and also from other people I know who had tyre-fitting issues with F1), I wouldn't go anywhere near these idiots again.

Wouldn't dream of getting my car MOT'd by F1 but after extensive research they were the cheapest around for supply and fit of a Goodyear Eagle Asy2 tyre for my car a couple of months ago. My car has the reinforced XL variants though which are a bit dearer, but worth it.

I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of ordering tyres direct than having to ring round all the local garages to get fitting quotes - usually £15 a tyre at most of them which makes it more expensive in most cases.

I had no problems using Tyreleader before though it was just for a single tyre. Took almost a week for delivery and they have various tyre fitters available to choose on where you wanna send the tyre to, with fitting price listed.

Would much rather use them than F1 Autocentre!

I hadn't been to a tyre centre for years due to the usual crap service from neanderthal fitters I have been using tyres on the drive but I did go to F1 autocentre last week to have a tyre fitted (Blackheath branch) and was pleasantly surprised how helpful and polite the staff were.

Yes, it's better to waist some time waiting for delivery and then looking for cheap fitting... resulting in more money spent than ordering this. It's only tyre fitting, you don't need to do anything else if you have crap local f1 branch... £8 for fitting this size like someone mentioned ? Good luck

Why oh why are these deals always too small for my car....went on website to look for mine and they are £145!

Hot if they fit your car though!

Cowboys for MOTs and repair, surely they can fit tyres though.

Halfords, National, F1... They are all local fitters for most internet shops, it's just the case if you have a good local branch or bad one. Talking about MOT we can only trust some small local garages or council ones

agreed been using them for over 10 years. very friendly, will give you a heads up on any other up and coming faults or warnings (without pressure to buy) and have occasionally thrown in free balancing for me. top notch at the Chelmsford branch

If you are a Lloyds Bank customer I noticed this morning that F1 Autocentres are currently in the Everyday Offers section.

10% cashback until 02/03/15.

where abouts do you live? Most can't be bothered to fit self supplied tyres here, those that do want £20 per corner. In and around Kingston.

Good price, my size but I won't need any for about 2 years!

Drive up to any tyre fitter around southall/hayes if your passing, most places here charge around £10 a corner.

HOT deal for a great tyre !

I will now personally avoid Tyreleader, after they sent damaged goods in november, i am still to this day waiting for a refund. I would pay the extra couple of quid and go via Oponeo, as their office is based in NW London. Barclaycard are no good at helping either.

F1 in Gloucester have been excellent over the years. I always go there now.

Almost as cheap I as can get through my company discount Very good tyre which along with the Pirelli always comes out top in the tests. Not as pretty as the old F1's but you get a lot more mileage

Most tyre companies will agree to price match - so just ask your preferred fitter to pricematch F1. Simples.

Although they are the cheapest around but do not expect any thing like quality from them, also i booked online and then charged a different price at the centre.

Had these fitted last week, absolutely excellent tyre. Much quieter than Continental Sport, and apparently more fuel efficient.

Just be glad it's not Dunlop you went for, they came ready fitted on my vRS and were shot after 6000 miles oO

How are getting it at this price? Showing as £123.10 pre 5% discount for me?

Search for 225/40/18 and y in speed rating to get xl model £89 before discount

Rip off cowboys

Have used F1 locally (King's Lynn) several times as they are cheapest in area for tyres.
In my opinion their business model is similar to that of supermarkets - entice you in with loss leaders in the hope that you will then buy other items.
Stand Firm. Get the tyres and politely decline everything else offered.

Shropshire. I used a local tyre outfit called Tyreworks to get them fitted. Obviously it was £8 + VAT so £9.60/tyre.
