Lol no point in netflix or prime, you have no idea what you're talking about clearly. Just because you can type doesn't mean you should. Anyway this is a great deal, voted hot
Why so negative? I honestly looked on here and didn't find a recent deal (2015), as good as this.
Sure, Wuaki do these deals frequently, but they are good offers, and worth reminding people about!
Over Christmas I begrudgingly paid £30 for one, as a gift, from Currys.
So why not give the good people of HUKD the opportunity to find a good deal?
im still baffled why people like Netflix or amazon or nowtv - all rubbish imo, unless you like old movie, b movie or those movies that have bee shown on tv 3million times
Just a crazy deal.
FacePalm xD
Netflix has a ton of TV shows if you connect to the US version (quite a few on the UK site too) and a lot of their original content has actually been decent.
It's not great for films but there tend to me a couple added each month that are worth watching and they do get some films quite quickly sometimes. I think it's decent value for the cost, especially given 2 people can watch it at the same time so there's nothing stopping you sharing your account with someone.
Does Wuaki offer £15 play credit too? I've only seen that on the full price version
I had this and contacted support - if the expiry month on your card is 1-6, ie., Jan through to June then you have to input 01, 02, 03, etc for the card to be accepted. Try that.
You control it with your phone or tablet
I've got an iPhone and there's not a lot of apps about for video streaming for it at the moment.
Athough a quick google as i type actually reveals this ..
itunes.apple.com/us/…t=8
.. which i've never heard of until now so just going to go and try it.
I've had a look at it and it's not really what i'm after - the idea, for me at least, is to be able to access the content without having to have the PC on all the time - this is why i'm never really keen on PLEX. I can access my NAS drive through my Bluray player for one thing, but i'd love to have a nice front end solution to it for the iPhone I suppose,
That's actually one of the main things i do with mine if i'm bored. I'll usually sit there in front of the TV and load up a huge playlist of random stuff from Youtube on my phone and send it over to the TV via the Chromecast. Because it's essentially one of the 'flagship' apps of the Chromecast, it handles all the videos absolutely perfectly.

I got mine for my Dad to share my Netflix Acc.
I was going to cancel Netflix, and use up the free 3 months of Sky, but then I realised that Netflix has gone up £1, so I don't want to cancel my account now. So I can have the cheaper price for a year or two more. Won't Sky's entertainment pass be just like netflix anyway?
I have these apps but wasn't aware they had Chromecast support
Thank you very much ;D
OK so I can get these onto my TV with screen mirroring, but I'm finding the audio is out of sync
I did make a search, and couldn't find any current deals, like AndyWedge (Mod) mentioned, these are all over a month old (2014),
So well worth reminding people about in 2015!
I had: £15 Google Play Credit
X-Men The first one Free ( When I downloaded the film, it popped up with Gravity available for Free, so got that to)
90 days free Google Play Music
90 days now TV subscription.
Play Music is so easy to cancel, just go to settings and cancel subscription anytime before your bill date and you will never be charged for the next month.
Even if you just get the £15 play store credit its all gravy.
I get full audio on mine when doing that. i also use mine for netflix and you can get some cool extensions for chrome browser that will let you cast any film you may have downloaded from your hard drive or embeded video in a website
