Watch content in up to 4K Ultra HD and HDR, from your phone, tablet or laptop straight to your TV. Chromecast Ultra offers clearer picture and stronger processing power, so you'll have faster load times and smoother streaming. Use with iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows device or Chromebook. Setup in 3 easy steps; plug Chromecast Ultra into your TVs HDMI port and power. Then visit chromecast. Com/setup and connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV. Tap the Cast button in a Cast-enabled app to stream content to your TV.

Enjoy 4K enabled content from Netflix and YouTube, plus discover thousands of apps at chromecast. Com/apps. To view content in 4K or HDR, a 4K or HDR-capable TV and reliable broadband internet connection are also required. Minimum OS and broadband requirements are at g. Co/cast/req.

Everything you love about Chromecast but better. Crisper, deeper colours, and smoother video. Even without a 4K TV, Chromecast Ultra delivers the best picture quality possible for your TV.

PS - I think it's standard subscription of Netflix.

'yes'...the new Chromecast ultra does have a better chipset for 4k content, and, it does have a wired Ethernet port too which is built into the power adapter....

The only downside is you cant power it via a usb port as you could with the old version, you do need to used the supplied adaptor.

While the Netflix helps justify the price a little, though not much as it's still available on the standard £20 model, I think these are a little overpriced. Yes, 4K is still pretty new, but there have been boxes around for at least a year, possibly more, like the fire tv box, that can handle 4K too and most 4K TVs will have integrated apps for at least Netflix and Youtube, so that alone isn't enough to justify it IMHO. I think £50 would have been the sweet spot price wise for this....

Quite right. I'll be ordering at £50 .... maybe .... but definitely not at this price.
