This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The nest hub and Chromecast bundle is available without being a student here credit to @paras_shah11 which seems like a good price for the two, however if you want to just take the Chromecast, then you need a student beans account to access it

Entertainment that you love. With a little help from Google.

No switching apps. Just watching.
Google TV organises all your content – across all your streaming services – on one screen. So it’s easy to find what to watch.

Get personal recommendations.
Find your next favourite based on your subscriptions, viewing history and content that you own.

Get more at the right price.
When you search for a show or movie, find out if it’s included in your services, or compare prices on other ways to watch.

From the small screen to the TV.
Cast from hundreds of compatible Android and iOS apps directly from your phone, laptop, or tablet. And mirror your Chrome browser tab to your TV.

Watch your favourites with your voice.
Press the Google Assistant button on the included remote to ask Google to find films, TV shows or music. Just ask Google, "find acton films", for example.

Relive your memories
Enjoy a slideshow of your pictures from your Google Photos library, directly on your TV.

Plug in. Stream on.
Chromecast works with almost any TV with an HDMI port. Just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi and start streaming.

Pump up the sound.
Group Chromecast with your other Nest speakers or displays to fill your home with sound. Then control them by using your voice or the app.

Shame goodle apps don't work (gamil/chrome etc) not visable play store …Shame goodle apps don't work (gamil/chrome etc) not visable play store either OK as a streaming device though when I last checked BBCi didn't work either....come on google get your act together.

BBC iPlayer does work on it. Use it all the time.

Gmail and Chrome etc won't work but I'm not really sure why you'd want your emails on the telly.

You can sideload some apps with different levels of success.

There's no All4 app though which is annoying, although you can cast from the phone app to the device. This is the fault of Channel 4, not Google.

My biggest gripe is that it doesn't connect to the Google Nest Hello doorbell.

no you had to do a slight work around (@MrSwitch you might want to up date if you want to show the £89 price)

If you search for the google nest hub, make sure it is the chalk version and then look at the bundles you should see the image above. If you do it from the chromecast way you'll see it for £99.98.

Don't want to quite use the G word yet, but knocks off an extra £11 to make it £88.99 so wahay!

Been using one of these for nearly a year now, and it's been rock solid; so much better than the Fire TV it replaced. Having USB-C also allows you to plug in a dongle to expand your storage or plug in all manner of devices. The only downside I've found is the lack of the NowTV app.

Was that with student discount that you were able to get the £89 price?

Agree, it's the best of the dongles I've used. There are supposed to be ways of side-loading Now TV onto it but I've never got it to work.

Yes, I've had a few goes myself and the guides seems to be for an outdated app which no longer works. Luckily for me, my LG has this app so it's a minor inconvenience. Much better than having to faff with the awful Fire TV interface, for sure.

Is the Google TV Chromecast capable of streaming 3rd party apps like movie hd etc?
