Hot for the 1st part of the deal. Can't give half hot, so hot from me.
These are the standard prices at several different outlets, including Google store and John Lewis which includes a 2 year warranty which is probably a better option.

Yes, on their own the prices are the same as other outlets but the bundle adds a discount of £9 for the hub/speaker.

Guessing you don't have a smartphone either then? Because anything these speakers are doing, your phone is doing too
Can you install apps on this or is it like a mirror of your phone.

I have a CCTV app and looking to use it as a display to see who is at the door before opening it ?
Would that work ?

Will not work. No browser and no app store on these hubs. For watching your Nest hello doorbell, which is what I use it for, it's fine.

so what exactly is this then? I have REOLINK cameras so I want a screen, I am tempted just to buy a cheap tablet and have that on the app live 24 hours a day.

Its basically a smart speaker with the addition of a 7" screen that you can see your uploaded photos / a clock / watch youtube / control your thermostats and smart lights via touch / watch your Nest hello - that's my experience of it after 14 months with one anyway.

For what you want, I agree a cheapo Android tablet with the Reolink app should do you. Will the screen burn out / turn off after 30 seconds etc? Maybe. Only 1 way to find out.

Bush Push!
Home hub is £59 and Google speaker is £40 anyway lately , so buying them together doesn't save anything.
I bought the Google Nest Hub for £54 for my wife from John Lewis online just before Christmas (reduced from £59 with their GOOGLE30 code) and picked up a Google mini speaker instore at Waitrose on 23rd for £19 for my daughter. £85 here seems a bit steep to me; I expect they will be on offer again soon.
