@Chanchi32 posted this deal earlier for the standard Google Home but Google Nest Hub (renamed from Home Hub) is £89. Same voucher as that deal applies here too so you can pay £89 for the Nest Hub and £30 of shopping included! New customers only. I have tested this myself on a new account and it works. Also credit to @anewman for mentioning this deal in the comment section

Apologies if already posted, tried a search but couldn't find it.

New one (10") is due out beginning of September. Totally different features and more than double the cost but thought it may be worth bringing it to people's attentions.

You're welcome I already have one, it's very handy. Especially good for song lyrics!

It's not a successor to this one, it's like a plus variant with a bigger screen and camera. I might get it and sell my Nest Hub, depends if it goes on a good deal.
One thing to bear in mind with the hub is if you are using it in the bedroom to act as an alarm clock, media alarms i.e. radio and music cannot be used when the voice is set to UK. They work if you are happy with US voice. Google are aware of the issue so hopefully next firmware update will resolve problem. Media alarms work on all other google devices its just the hub yhat is affected.

This will be a much better but in my opinion with the build in nest cam it’s a no brainier and makes one of these worth having IMO

Media alarms don't work in the UK on any device as far as I know, not specific to Nest Hub. It's an US only feature.

No, media alarms work on all other Google devices. Ii have every other type from mini to home max and media alarms work fine. It's only the hub with the issue as the OS is different. Google have confirmed problem is with the latest firmware and they are working on it.

Wow, thanks for this! I had been waiting for this for ages, didn't realise it actually works as I only tried on my Nest Hub, not my Home which I would use for alarms

Just tested this out and it works.

If you want media alarm on Nest Hub, there is a workaround. Set one up as a routine.

Completely agree, I have a night routine, I just say "hey google, goodnight" it then

1) asks what time I want the alarm set, then confirms
2) Tells me the weather tomorrow
3) Turns off all lights in the house connected to TPlink plugs
4) Turns on camera from spare room viewing the garden
5) Sets my nest to 18 o/c

Then says goodnight to me

I have a goodnight routine too, changes colour of the light, turns off the lights, then turns off the power supply of one of my extensions. I was very happy when routines was launched in the UK after such a long wait.

I have still never received my free hub when buying a Pixel 3a.

Cool story bro 🏼

It must have taken you a long time to think of that one. What was your inspiration?
Thanks. Had mine delivered today. Had been looking at digital photo frames, but this has a great screen on it.
Can anyone confirm that this is still active? When I try to use the code it says it expired yesterday - 15/8/2019

Thanks.
