This is a quality, powerful, bass booming home speaker.

Google have dropped the prices across their Home range on their website, with the retailers following. 2 years warranty from Currys, but the same price elsewhere if you have a preference.

Hmm. I think I'd struggle to justify this thing over a quality set of Bluetooth stereo speakers and a connected Home Mini. It's too expensive even at this price.

Seems Google are having to rethink a lot about their high prices right now eg Pixel

Nice, will wait until it's near £100
google have acquired Nest and combined the name. so these google products will be replaced with nest products soon. example is the google home is now called nest home and nest home XL. s expect these to be shifted for new stock soon. £199 is a decent price and my bite point when they drop to this.

Why would you do that?

Because its just as good and cost less than I sold the play 5 for.
