Does the dot work well with the Ring doorbell?

Don't know. Nobody ever visits me.

Can we just collectively call them 'voluntary espionage devices'? This …Can we just collectively call them 'voluntary espionage devices'? This explains the low price and how Google and Amazon are still making a profit off you privacy.

I'd normally think you're a lunatic but I'm noticing an alarming trend of topics or things myself and my wife have verbal conversation about in the house popping up on my Google newsstand feed or random adverts in apps on my phone. We have a Google home mini speaker. It's not something we had searched for online at any point so I can't see any other way Google have obtained these words or topics. I don't think it's a coincidence, I'm guessing they perhaps harvest keywords in conversation (even when you aren't talking to the speaker) and this information is then used by their adverting partners for targeted ads.

Is it just me this happens to? If so I'll just slink back off to the corner and shut up..!
This is the same as Google Play Store's price tomorrow, correct?

If I bought one of these every time they was on a deal on this site I’d have about 50

For a really good price

This is the old model now right? The newer ones have improved bass? Not sure if there are other features too.

Haha you don't realise how many times I've had to refresh the site today, the site normally updates at 6-7am

Will be yes. The Chromecast is not currently listed under their Black Friday offers but I am sure it will be!
Combined deal for 5 different items so 5x heat!

Is this the third generation of Echo Dot?

In the description is states "Fire TV Stick with all-new Alexa Voice Remote" so I presume so. It does not definitely say in the product title however.

what time do these prices go live in store tomorrow? If I go at midnight, would I get them...

The nest one? Is that the new one?
Broke one of our Chromecasts and our living room one doesnt have 5Ghz so struggles a bit so this is ideal!
Take some 🔥 for the Google Home Mini and Chromecast

Should almost certainly be midnight - the staff probably will not have changed the labels however so simply take the product to a till and the reduced price should show

Do you think the Google Store deals will be live from midnight tonight?
FYI this is the F HD Firestick not the 4K one
mikewadkins3521/11/2019 14:23

Yes, the Nest one is the new one. Currently selling at £49 but I wouldn't expect it to stay at that. The Google Home Mini (or that name at least) is being phased out.
I've just had a look at the tesco website. It's £20 now but at checkout charges £3 for delivery and £4 for orders under £40.

There is more than one product listed here but I was talking about the Google Home Speaker which is /was Google's version of the Echo. The Amazon product listed here is the TV stick, not a speaker like the Echo Dot.

Yep, I have both and they can be linked. I think they say something like "Someone is at the front door"
Have an old v1 chromecast that keeps stuttering when I watch Twitch streams. Been waiting for a deal on a newer one, hopefully will help.

At £19 if I read that right, it's definitely but the latest, which is £49 generally. That's the Ultra HD 4K model btw. It'll be the one before that. I have both and each is perfectly serviceable, depending upon your set-up and own needs.

Is a firestick or roku better for sideloading apps

Fire tv I would definitely think so yes.

Firestick.... but I highly recommend you put a tenner on top and get the 4k stick, it's way faster - and no, you don't need a 4k tv !
sagem21/11/2019 14:53

They'll be the same price everywhere for sure. Some retailers might be 99p cheaper by rounding it down but that's about it.

I wouldn't mind another Chromecast but it seems silly when the firesticks the same price. It's not better I just prefer not having another remote control laying around hmmm
Cheers will do
