Not keen on having to screw it to the wall.

- Don't screw it to the wall
- Have someone else screw it to the wall
- Screw the wall to it instead

Silly question, but if you're gonna use double sided tape, or command strips, why buy the holder. Why not just stick the speaker to the wall?

Hi Frank
How can a £1.99 speaker accessory be so controversial?

Socket Wall Mount Stand Hanger For Google Home Mini

Seller is good as well that's where I bought all mine from and this one hides the cables so putting it on a mid wall mounted socket doesn't look bad
Edited by: "Kenneth131" 22nd Sep
Double sided tape it.
Only thing with these is I bet it affects the sound quality a little compared to it being on a solid surface like a shelf. Especially if it's on a plasterboard wall.

Command strips don't stick to the bottom of the mini, tried it and it kept falling off, something with the rubbery material on the base.

Doesn't give you the option to move the speaker if you want it somewhere else temporarily.

Sound quality is poor anyway.

They don't stick to the rubberised base

Not great but on the right surface with the equaliser set right I think they're not terrible.
Make one for free. Just need a £500 3d printer.

You wouldn't not buy this bracket because of sound quality though. If you are using it for listening to music then you most likely have it hooked up to a Bluetooth speaker (or Sonos if it works with that - haven't tried yet). I like the idea of having it on the wall like my Echo Dot.
If anyone cares (unlikely), I'll be using mine to fix it to the underside of a kitchen wall cabinet. You never know, it may improve the sound

Hi Buddy the link just sends me to the homepage. Could you screen grab it? Or such like.
Ordered, thank you OP. Worth a punt for £1.99
Great idea, creates space on bedside table. Also got one from them for my Echo Dot in the kitchen. Essential kitchen equipment. "Echo, what's 2 cups in metric?"

hi, can you link me to the item please as the link you posted just clicks to the home page of AE

Thanks
I stuck mine to the bathroom wall (on the tiles) with silicone. Silicone sticks well to the rubber back.

Use quality 3m or Tessa double sided tape as well... If you use thin stuff you'll barely notice the difference from just a command strip and you'll still maintain the no damage/removeability of the command strip
