Heard some bad stuff about that website
When a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
So this comes with a 110v US power supply?
Probably some kind of Chinese knock-off

Probably comes with a US 2 pin plug, but any USB plug will work with it.

They don't use a micro usb, it's a right angle round jack plug... Not sure what size.

It's got a specific sized 2 pin plug that fits very snugly in the slot in the case. It's definitely not a usb plug and an aftermarket connector isn't going to fit very well in the slot, if at all.

More than likely, its also likely to be fatter than the UK version.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of the mini, thanks for the reminder.
Can't be bothered repeating everything but here's the blurb about the US version and using it in the UK.

Google Forums - Will US Google Home work in UK

1: What's the point of the version you do not get any of the extra US functions to work in the UK anyhow.
2: The given that you will need plug adapter (though not a transformer as it takes 100~240v)
3: Issues with it working with some UK routers (some solutions on the link)
4: During setup you must change your keyboard settings on your device to US English (can flick back afterwards).
5: To setup anything else to work with the device (like bulbs etc) you also need to flick your keyboard settings to US English.
6: Your warranty is straight away expired.
Just for your information, it works fine in reverse. I am currently in California and I take my Google mini with me and it works fine.
