£24 you mean it's 299 on the play store + £10 for delivery.

Also

You save£102.76

Where the hell did they get that price? It was £310 at the google play store from day 1. I think they are going a bit far with the saving suggestion or just using a price from buy it now sales on ebay.

Amazing phone... not even powered up my laptop once since I got mine last year. personally prefer to buy direct from play store but £25 is good saving if supplier can offer quality support.

Super buy, great product. Hot !

Very good deal as loved my Nexus 4 and love my Nexus 7 2103. I got my iphone 5c via groupon and as somebody pointed out on that thread don't forget to buy via quidco...makes this even better...at 5%.....£270.75 after cash back!

How are they allowed to completely lie about the rrp. it has never been that price! good deal though.

It is £449.99 on O2 Pay & Go. Unbelievable.

I've noticed this before with O2. I'd love to know how many people just go straight in there and buy it without shopping around. I was looking at the LG G2 the other day which they have for £580 on PAYG!!! It's only £339 at Amazon!

How do these compare to the Samsung galaxy s4

How about tell a friend £5?

TCB is 6.3% cashback

Don't need this yet as I'm still totally in love with my nexus 4. But I will day that I'm so impressed with nexus that it'll take some serious persuading to get me to buy anything else in the future.

Say

better than an s4?

Am I right in thinking the battery is not the best in these phones? I am a very light user and am still struggling to get a day out of my GS3. Very tempted by this though, and heat for a good price.

Heard the battery life on these are very poor anyone with one like to share there experience

Yes basically I have had one for three weeks and can find no issues with battery life.

Average life on a smart phone these days is around a day. I'm getting a day and a half on stock. I actually just flashed cyanogenmod and am getting two days moderate to light use which is pretty good in my book

if the screen is important to you I'd be looking at a note 2's beautiful AMOLED screen over this awful LCD display, the difference is huge

the note 2 is 720p but that's all you need at these screen sizes

I get 5 hours of screen on time, but I've seen as high as 6 on others.

Phone is as good as an S4, if not better because it doesn't come with any bloatware or touchwiz and will always have the latest version of Android (you could be waiting 2 or 3 months to get the same android version on an S4)

I have found this screen excellent. What is your basis for saying this?

Battery is fine on these iv had one since launch and it lasts all day with mod- heavy use. When using it the battery does appear to drain quickly but when its locked and not in use it sips power so when you start using it normally opposed to never out your hand when you first get it then it is as good as the best out there battery wise.

Build is variable with these though some have button rattle which is normal due to tolerances in manufacturing and the vibe motor in some sounds buzzy but again its down to the new vibrate motors being used industry wide to save space and make a thinner handset.

The screen however is gorgeous and the camera is quite impressive.

Are you joking? The Nexus 5 screen is absolutely stunning. If you ever use a 1080 screen for any length of time, you will never want to go back to anything lower. The difference is massive!

No, it has the usual Nexus device restrictions.

Depends on personal needs. Frankly I find Samsung annoying in that their crapware takes up too much storage, battery life and is rarely used!

Had the nexus 5 for a month and was just so disappointed with it so got the LG G2 and it is one of the best phones i've ever owned.

I use a 2560 x 1600 display on my toshiba excite pro and resolution matters but nowhere near as much as screen technology - trying to say that a 1080p LCD display will look better than a 720p AMOLED display is strange. OLED wins hands down and that's why OLED is the future

Interesting statement given they're the exact same phone underneath!

Only difference being the G2 camera is 13MP and not 8MP which makes little real world difference. Oh and the LG is obviously LG's overlay over Android.

anyone got one of these and can tell me if 16GB is enough for a 'normal' person? For example, will a few apps take up this space?

I went the other way with the g2 as I found the g2 skin really annoying. Preferred the pure Android experience hands down
