I was going to get a new phone in a couple of months to replace my htc m8. I've been gathering points with rakuten with the recent deal so will dive in at this.
What if we (in house) were both upgrading? Could I buy the Nexus 6 then use the points as part purchase for the next one?
Quick question peeps. I've just signed up on topcashback and they say as a welcome I'll get an extra 5% off my first order. So will that go on top of the 8.4%?

It takes about a week or two to hit your account.
Too big for me. I want the xperia z3 compact but it is the same price as this. Stupid.

Even better deal I wonder how much I'd also get for selling my htc one m8?
Considering upgrading my N5 to this. Hmm.
Anyone upgraded from the nexus5? whats the battery like?

Alright - Still not great. I consistently got 3.5/4 hours a day out of it but would say I'm a heavier user than most.
Looks like I can get around £160 for my m8 looking at classifieds elsewhere. So after my bumper cashback the phone will only cost me around £80
Heat! I've got a phone few days ago on a similar deal from rakuteeb, been playing over past few days and I am very pleased with it. Very fast and sleek, get's latest updates, 32 GB is more then enough for me, but other people might find it "low". Feels very well made, a bit curved so it does not feels too big for 6".

Mainly just browsing over 4G using Chrome. Sucked the life out of the thing. Tried some custom kernels and ROMs but never really got anywhere. I'm hoping the 6P improves on it.
Thanks for your comments delboy as I was very tempted but 4 hours isn't enough for me. Although with quick charging maybe it doesn't matter as much? Just ordered a Moto X Play while I wait for a Nexus 6P
Great price! Heated!
Can this linked model actually run 4G? It's just I spotted this model: rakuten.co.uk/sho…t_4
which has 4G in the title making me think OP's one can't do 4G.

Is this phone boxed and brand new for that price, or is it a refurbished? I am just looking on Amazon and other sellers and it is still retailing for £350+.

Is there any catches with the Rakuten Points? So you earn £70+ of points and free to redeem these any where on they're market place you choose...

This all sounds too god to be true.

You definitely have a duff battery then! I normally have over 25% when I go to bed after a 16 hours day. That includes 2-3 hours streaming films. Had mine a year, still going strong!

I ordered this last week. The phone is brand new and sealed.

The points get credited to your account after around 2 or 3 weeks of purchase. The points that you get should be used by October end.

For me it costed £292.49 Subtract the £81 (for points - that I will use to buy hard drive) and the TCB around £19. Effectively it costed me £192.49
Just explaining (not boasting) as I am very happy with the phone

The Motorola Nexus 6 was always sold as a 4G device, and not aware of them selling a 3G only device.
Also if you go to Expansys own website, instead of buying through Ratuken it states all the bands available, and I can only assume this is exactly the same phone for sale!

(Remeber you won't get the points or 10% discount if you purchased through their own website.)

No it's legit with the points. The only condition is they have to be used before the current promotion ends which for this deal (25x super points) is end of October. I've bought a few things from them since the offer went live and will have around £150 worth of points to spend. Mmm what to buy

Thank you AstalaVista, appreciate your feedback and much appreciated.

I was really hoping when Huawei were announced as the manufacturer of the Nexus 6P, we would get a bargain phone. But that wasn't the case, so definately going for this!

I was just reading the reading the reviews and doesn't sound like you get the Turbo Boost charger for the phone, as it is EU supplied and just stick a UK standard micro-USB charger in the box. But this isn't a game changer for me!

Nice one, thanks. I think the people who listed the phone in the link I posted just put 4G in their title which made things a little confusing!

Very tempted by the deal. But I have a Z1 which has a micro SIM and the Nexus 6 use nano SIMs. What do people tend to do in this situation? Cut down their micro SIMs or ask their network for a new SIM?

You are welcome.

You do get the turbo charger adapter with this one (At least that is what it says on the power adapter). Yes it is a EU plug but then they also give you a EU to UK converter (which is cheap and not of good quality). So it is definitely a turbo adapter.

Hmm, I'm not too sure. Streaming films isn't that intensive I don't think. If I use Netflix on it I can get a whole load of battery out of it.

Just found that for day to day intensive browsing it sucks, really ran down fast.

I also had a unit for two months, bricked it, then it was replaced by Motorola. The battery on both was fairly average. However, I now have a Note 4 and still found the battery to only last for 4 hours screen on time. Maybe I just use my phone for incredibly intensive tasks..

Edit: By the way, I meant 3.5/4 hours of screen on time, not power on time.

My boyfriend and I are currently debating this now as we both have Nexus 4s! We're trying to decided whether we want a phone that large!!
Bought one of these last Thursday with the BDAY10 code. Arrived Friday with a blemish under the screen, the back peeling off and unable to power on.

As of this afternoon I'm yet to receive an RMA authorisation from Expansys, have no points on my Rakuten account and oh, Topcashback didn't track either.

It's still a great deal if your device works, but judging by the state of my device, these things are probably refurbs being sold as new.
I'll bite when this goes below £100,
lol joking, amazing deal btw.

Phone again and they will give u it. I requested one because 2 weeks price was high so iv returned that and ordered at this price. I won't open it till I get the email to confirm, but on slips it says issue refund, so hopefully it will be!
Paid Royal Mail £3.95 2nd class recordered.
How long before your points show in your account , ordered over an hour a go and still nothing, how long do you get to spend your points

Phoned again today, told that they have a backlog and they'll send me a parcelforce pickup request tomorrow. I'm not particularly looking forward to having to wait a week plus to get my phone.
