OK so rang my other locals at Milford Haven and at Haverfordwest, Milford confirmed same price but none in stock, Haverfordwest confirmed same price and 23 in stock. so same in price in Pembrokeshire it looks like.

Next these will be clearance priced in supermarket bins.

I don't get it !

Are these tablets well reviewed ? I cannot see much feedback or many reviews so not sure if they are any good?

Very well reviewed, yeah. I imagine they're getting cheap as the next one will be out in May.

These will most likely be location specific, don't think I've ever seen a store with 12 of 1 product (such as a tablet etc) on the shelves.

I take it you are kidding?

The Nexus 7 is reckoned to be about the best value tablet for the money. Had great reviews ever since it came out, and amazing if this price can be had.

This is an excellent tablet and this is a good price for it. No video out and 7" is a bit cramped but a top screen for the money. Hot.

Im guessing if ive got a Nexus 4 I would want a nexus 10? seeing as though the screen wouldnt be much bigger

Respect for posting they had twelve and you only took one...

Half the price of a certain fruit branded rival, and yet twice as good. Bargain!

Any idea if they reduced the 3G model?

If you're guessing and you're you then only you can decide that one....
Personally, I've got a Nexus 4 and would love a nexus 7 and I'm just not interested in the Nexus 10

3 inches does actually make a big difference!!!

I guess it just that mobile phones screen are so big now Im just not sure what the real reasons is for a tablet if you have a very good big screen smartphone? sorry im not being awkward here I just want someone to give me a counter argument

im guessing the processor is much more powerful, but whats difference are there between a good smartphone and a good tablet aside from the obvious screen size and potential processor power

Maybe he used the calculator function?

I have the 4 as well. Websites render nicer on 7". Magazines can actually be read on the 7. On the 4 I have to zoom in.

I get your concern though, but I find 10" too big for my needs. I hope the next 7 will be 7.9" as I think that'll make a big difference.

Some tablet specific apps are so much better than their phone counterparts, though Android is still lagging in this department.

The N7 is an excellent device though, and far bigger than my N4.

Anyone managed to find any in London

a couple in stock in next town, but guy said £170 for 16gb

Sanchit

Maybe but call the local

Yeah, call the local if you want the local staff to have it.

Hot hot hot, i have one of these and it is amazing, fits nicely in my handbag too

Seconded. I use my n7 over my phone every time to go on the internet, use apps and play games. You say there's not much difference between a 4 inch and 7 inch display, but there really is. Once you have a 7 inch tablet where you can actually read the screen easily you dnt want to go back to a tiny 4 inch display

Probably because they wouldn't expect to sell that many without restocking the shelves in between and would rather not increase the risk of theft. With them being reduced they will clearly sell at a higher rate.

My Nexus 4 screen is 4.7 inches - for me a nexus 7 would be too close in size to bother with. They are very nice though and I did briefly toy with the idea of a nexus 7 3g instead of mobile phone.

this is the clearance price as the 32gbwas the same price ( or only £10 more) i think they have started to discontinue the 16gb

These were on an end aisle, with some other stuff like cameras and mobiles, but they were only 5-10 quid off.

Also i have galaxy nexus 4" and already got one of these, and 7" is a big difference.

The screen will be roughly twice as big by area so not so close really.

Voted hot but unfortunately none around me. All out in Bathgate, South Queensferry, Edinburgh Hermiston Gait and Edinburgh Corstorphine....oh well. good luck.

I've never found myself wishing I had a device with roughly twice the screen area - if I need a bigger screen it's time to crack open the laptop!

Exactly, like reading something on A5 paper vs A4 paper.
