I think this is a pretty good deal for a tablet of this quality from Google.

It has a decent resolution and good battery life.
Its quad core and 2GB of RAM.

This can compete with any entry level tablet on the market today.

The price is £100 but if you go in store you can get a £10 voucher for your spend. If you were already spending at argos for something else then you've hit a good deal making it £90.

Excellent tablet in 2013. A very good basic tablet today.

Much better than the cheap Samsung Tab tablets recent posted for similar money.

Its slow and laggy now. I still have mine.

As for price what do you mean too expensive? Too expensive for this tablet or too expensive for a tablet im general? I personally spend around £400 for my tablets.

I would choose the Lenovo s8-50 (£99 @ Very) 8' screen, front faceing Dolby speakers etc...

I have recently upgraded to a 2013 version, a very nice upgrade if you love your 2012 as much as me

these are worth this price all day long, would happily pay more

Sadly yes, I think price is key over performance nowadays and you get what you pay for.

Mine certainly isn't slow or laggy and perfectly useable.
Great build quality and excellent battery life.
Runs Lollipop fine and gets updates first.

This is an absolutely wicked tablet; if your looking for a tablet which feels good in the hand and has a an absolutely wicked screen resolution and quality (1920×1200), good build quality, nice battery life, wireless QI charging ability (Qi pronounced CHEE) and which has excellent community support and the latest Android OS builds this is the device for you.

Its good at this price and even better if you can get the bespoke price.

This is ok i have one but its 2015 now this is very dated and slow its ok for kids.

You buy something with it.

Turned on my TV last night. Saw Argos advert for Nexus tablet at £100. Thought to myself "ach, someone's posted that on HUKD already then..."

Are you sure you're not thinking of the 2012?
Mine is still fast as anything, two years after launch...

I dont think so no ,I think the poster is right .A lot of you are stating its so 2013 ,so what as this poster has pointed out we have had very little improvement over the last 2 years .Go look at benchmarks and compare also compare screen resolution and this has a 1,920 x 1,200 ips screen .Add it all together and show us a comparable .I use this every day and it is blazing fast .Remember we are talking £90 .
Edit it's closest rival is Hudl 2 ,widely regarded as best bang for buck tablet .We have both and I know which one I would prefer .

Yes I have. In fact I received a Rechargeable torch from them. I quoted the price from Amazon. Bespoke offered a cheaper price. I accepted the offer. They had made the purchase from Amazon

Could be wrong here but I think the two are the same .I have used it twice now an it is very good .saved over 10% both times and delivery was quick It pays to do the same link more than once as you can get better results I do 4 times to be sure and not to be a nuisance.

"It pays to do the same link more than once" - can you explain that? Do you mean submit the link? Or refresh the page or something like that? I've never used bespokeoffers before!

Submit the link 4 or 5 time works best if you have two diferant links eg a Amazon price match link what I mean by that is lots of times Amazon drop there price to match that of competitors .I got ram and a gpu

I highly recommend the Lenovo s8-50 for the same price maybe even less, it came out just under a year ago. Very good tablet.

this or lenovo for games and emulators?

£99 and 2 years warranty from John Lewis atm.

you wont get a better tablet for less than this its very good iv got one two years ago it cost me £229 just got to be carfull with usb port as the cost £50 for a new one.

Still a decent little tablet this mine runs fine and dandy, lags now and then under strain, but I have an iPad Air for most tasks.

I think most people who are saying this is laggy must have the 2012 version because the 2013 version isn't laggy.
