Great deal.

I still really like this tablet.

I can't remember - the 2013 is the current latest one isn't it? The first one was 2012?

Instore only.

Picking up the last one in the Horsham O2 store later today.

I would advise ringing and reserving, they will reserve for up to a week.

Hot. Nexus 9 is apparently coming 16th October.

Thanks OP, picked one up instore. Not many available though so call them before going to a store. I had success in Oxford Street branch, London.

Damn HOT. Just got John Lewis to price match the O2 £149.99 price three weeks ago. I'll keep in mind i paid £20 extra for an extra year warranty.

Cracking deal, if it had the Micro SD Slot, Id snap it up

Why though, 32Gb would do you surely.

It *might* but Id rather have the option to not be constrained. My S5 has a 64Gb card it in for example just so I don't need to think about apps, photos, etc etc

Do you vote that way on all the other HUKD offers too - like trampolines and baked beans?

Where is the nexus 8 ?

Nexus 8 is the new tablet similar to the nexus 7, similar look etc.

Nexus 9 is like a giant nexus 5 more like the windows tablets with optional keyboards. Or so I read online

Kool , wondering if it might b worth waiting for the nexus 8 instead then as that might b worth an upgrade from my tegra note 7 while the nexus 7 I feel is a bit of a level playing field with my note 7.

im so tempted. I wanted a good tablet for reading comics and this is right there.

Now to find an o2 shop

You will be lucky if the nexus 8 is less than £250, nexus 9 probably £300-£350. New Amazon 9 inch tablet is £330 and Amazon's tablets are usually slightly cheaper than nexuses at launch.

£250 in Medway wtf?

Better to wait for the new one. This one isn't very good.

Is this android? If so, I'll vote hot!

All the reputable review sites actually say this stands up very well and is very good value for money especially at this £129 cost.

HOT! I picked one up yesterday. Anyone who says it is cold is a fool. Brilliant tablet. Especially at the price. Yes, if you are lucky you can get an old iPad Mini (16BG) at a Sainsbury's for 200 quid. But this is better.

Oh, don't forget to go to the counter with a copy of their promotional magazine. It is listed in there along with 35 quids worth of free accessories. My local didn't have any of these accessory packs in stock and said it was for a limited time. I pointed out that there was no mention of a timescale in the magazine so they gave me a free Asus travel case and Griffin No2 pencil stylus off the shelf. They used the goodwill gesture code.

Tip 1: Look for a camera on the back to make sure it is the 2013 model.

Tip 2: They have them on display. If you are unsure about it go have a fiddle around with one. Ignore the 270 quid shelf price... and the 250 quid scan price

Got options anyway i suppose , i wonder how the nexus 8 will stack v the new tegra ?

It's not very good. It's very, very good. Picked up the 4G model from Very for £199 in the summer and think it's a tremendous bit of kit.

Yes it is

Wish Android had better external keyboard support (lots of issues with function keys etc) but I still adore my N7. If I could have got a 4G one I would have been extra happy too.

I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed with this device - except maybe those who wished they'd bought it instead of the "enter any brand here" device they did buy.

Yeah, but she might just be an Android FanGran

if the Nexus was an 8.4 tablet I'd snap one up even at £200. As it stands it's a little too small for me. I just don't see the benefit enough over a 5 inch phone screen for an extra gadget. waiting for the 8 to be released
