Google Pixel 2 + 24 Month Contract EE 2GB Unlimited Mins & Texts Total Cost 24/£22.99 + £35 with code @ Mobiles.co.uk

Found 4th Jan
24 month contract £22.99 per month

£50 upfront but code VC15OFF takes that down to £35 (credit indigobox).

£35 cashback on Topcashback or Quidco - means an effective total cost of £551.76

Or £481.76 for the same deal with only 1gb data! (Credit Deal_Hunt3r and Coffeehair) that is cheaper than the phone without a contract

Alternative code DEALENVY10 takes £10 off instead of £15 - but may work better with quidco than the VC15OFF code

The deal police will make you take off the cashback.....

I vote scorching!
After getting both to just under £1000 of rewards, I have stopped using topcashback/Quidco as nothing seems to pay out anymore. The sense of injustice and the stress of chasing it up was outwaying the thrill of saving money 😪

Thank god this deal has absolutely NOTHING to do with your irrelvent comment.

Hot deal, it's a shame there's no deals on the XL variant.

Does anybody know if this phone is better or the Samsung galaxy s8plus?

possible £35 quidco
Indeed cashback is not guaranteed.

Got my mum the 1gb £18 deal. Bloody brilliant price.

Use code VC15OFF and it takes £15 off the handset instead of £10

Thanks - deal updated
If you don't give a crap about data then for 1gb this is just 17.99/mo! More upfront, £100 mind. I have 2 months left on my existing or I'd drop on this right now!

No worries

if you don’t want quidco / topcashbackcash back I think avios also do 2500 points for a mobiles.co.uk deal regardless of codes being used. Handy for if you travel a lot and want discounted hotels / flights.

So by my sums this is £481.76 after the cashback and quidco. Amazing price

Is this available as an upgrade? Or just new connection?
Anyone know if ee themselves match these deals. I would end up leaving ee themselves to rejoin ee with mobiles.co.uk to save myself a few quid, but since mobiles.co.uk are presumably making a profit, would suit ee to offer it direct? Less hassle too.
Current Contract ending in 2 months. So I have to wait
More questions? Does the free 5gb mobile data boost that ee offer for having broadband and mobile with them apply if you get them mobile via mobiles.co.uk. If it did and I got 6-7gb mobile data, I could live with this deal.
Got this phone a couple of weeks back. Fantastic stuff. Camera holds up to the hype.

Bezels (honestly) don't impact the experience.

A discounted flagship in a non-flashy body is fine with me!

If ONLY this contract was with 1 extra gb of data. 2gb just isn't enough!
man i was all over this then i realised it's EE who have a blackspot over my house
I have already said the same thing half a month ago (https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/google-pixel-2-64gb-clearly-white-100-1799-pm-24m-ee-53176-mobilescouk-2856163#comment-32762580), and the question still stands:

Hang on, since when can you combine voucher codes with TCB / Quidco?

I did it through quidco and it said you could use voucher codes specified on the mobiles.co.uk page you clicK through to. So in this instance I think you can combine

Ordered. Thanks op
From Quidco...

  • Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts

So probably best not to use the code.

But the code was listed on the quidco page. Though it was the £10 off code DEALENVY10 so anyone worried could use that instead..

I have recently come out of an ee contract and got this phone on the £17.99 deal. EE will not match it. They admitted straight away both on the phone and in shop that they couldn't get anywhere near this price.

Apparently the official reason is that they want people to take the contracts out with them directly. I pointed out this was what I wanted to do but only if they could match the deal. They couldn't and the sales person agreed it was a silly situation. Furthermore to keep my number I had to change to another provider and then changed back to EE. Bonkers.

However the phone is utterly amazing. I've come from an LG G3 and there is a big speed difference, the battery life is amazing as is the camera.

I tried before but they say they cant price match, they did give me discount on their official pricing tho. (still way more expensive than mobiles uk tho)

As far as I am aware yes. You can also now use family sharing of data too. So if you have multiple contracts you can gift data. For example if you have 5GB in one tarrif and then 1GB on another you can gift 3GB to the 1GB account

Yeah I asked the same questions and they said they couldn’t price match as they don’t get a negotiated price on the phone like mobiles.co.uk do. Sounded like rubbish to me and that they don’t care as you will still end up with them anyway.

Me and three other members of my family have always been declined cashback through Mobiles.co.uk. All on separate deals and different times. Anyone else had the same issue with them?

Yes. Mobiles are just sales agents. You are with EE if take this
SOLD! After some "man maths", I proved to myself that this was too good to pass on. TCB tracked at only £10.50 though?

I think it tracks lower but then catches up.. on quidco at least it says..

“Purchases from this retailer may initially track lower than expected. Don't worry, the cashback amount will be updated before it's confirmed.“
This is a good price, but you can't include cashback in the title - it won't be paid if the voucher in the opening post is used and prices posted must exclude cashback as its not guaranteed.

I got this deal directly with EE due to a complaint on several hard credit checks against me when I wanted to go with this deal via mobiles.co.uk before Christmas - My email was sent to the CEO at EE. Within a few hours I got a call from a specialist and without giving too much away the deal they offered directly with them was great. My new Pixel XL phone is nothing but amazing and glad I moved away from Apple. At £17.99 it's a brilliant price and top quality phone with a 2 year warranty and any future repairs on the phone resets ur warranty to 2 years by Google direct. Also I put my EE account in full credit so my phone is now paid off, use my BT sim card with 25gb and use my EE SIM card in a cheap £10 Nokia phone.

As my phone is now paid off I've cancelled my direct debit.

Yes. I believe you can by calling EE or just put a SIM only in the handset I've done that. I'm not sure on the extra price but would prob be cheaper doing it the way I've done it.
